Having written her letter to Diavolo and Barbatos Mei conjures a shadow gateway. Stepping into the gateway Mei is transported out of her room and into the Spectral Realm. The air here is toxic in nature; most Devildom life would be unable to survive here.
Scattered around the barren landscape are the discarded weapons of the Reaper Corps. Far off in the distance is what appears to be the rubble of your family's Lotus Temple. Mei heads in the direction of the temple and sees that slightly beyond what is the back of the temple is a large stone with a lotus motif.
As she approaches the stone she sees that it is covered with various sigils. Majority of these symbols are protective in nature. She runs her hand on the seemingly untouched landmark. This causes the sigils to glow in response and fade away. As the last sigil fades away so does the the stone; revealing a large stone staircase descending downward into the earth.
Overcome by curiosity Mei descends the staircase. At the end of the staircase is a ornate doorway. Pushing open the doorway she enters what appears to be a treasure room. Gold, jewels, treasures, and chests of various orgins fill the room. At the room's center is a pedestal; on it you find a small staff with a lotus blossom on the top.
As Mei approaches the pedestal she suddenly feels the presence of another soul. " Well...well...well look who took their swear time getting here," an annoyed male voice spoke out.

Reaching to your side you grasp the hilt of your katana. "Come on now Mei is that any way to treat your old friend?" Said the owner of the voice with a chuckle as he turns her to face him. In response Mei lets out a little squeak as she meets the face of the man from your past visions.
"W-who are you? How do you know my name?" Mei stutters with both embarrassment and confusion. "You've forgotten my name m'lady? He asks while stroking his chin. " My name is Stolas. I am the general of Tsukinoki."
