7: The Truth Revealed

     "Ahsoka, go back inside" I ordered. I didn't mean for it to come out so sharp and demanding ding but apparently, it did. "Why, what's wrong? Did I do something?" She replied worryingly. "Tell you later" I muttered to a very confused Ahsoka. But she went inside anyway, such a good padawan! 

I carefully fixed Luke's injuries and wondered what had happened. 'the Tusken raiders must have gotten him.' I thought, 'They do roam around this area a lot, But why is Luke here in the first place? Is he trying to contact me?' I wondered.

After tending to his injuries and making sure he was okay, I carefully picked him up and laid him on the couch inside. He would need rest to get better. While I was waiting, I decided to have a chat with Ahsoka, who was eating the breakfast I made earlier. She would need to know a few things. 

"Ahsoka we need to talk," I said as I walked over. "Yes we do" she replied, emotions non-readable.

I took a deep breath. I would need to keep my emotions intact like I have done all these years. "Who is he?" She stated. It was more like she already knew, she could sense his force signature.

"There are 2" I stated. "Luke and Leia. Children of Anakin and Padmae."  Ahsoka nodded. "So you have been watching over him all this time?" She questioned. "Yes, it is my duty to watch over him and train him when the time comes," I explained. "Then when is that time?" Ahsoka said looking at Luke as she left. That was a good question, one that I hadn't answered myself.

That left me to sit with my thoughts for a while. Well, until Luke started to gain consciousness.

" where am I?" He asked. But then he must have remembered what he was doing before because he stated in a hurry, "Obi-wan, I need to find Obi-wan" "Woah slow down there" I told Luke. "Are you Obi-Wan ?"  he asked hopefully "Why, are looking for him?" I asked "Well my droid-  it's probably best to show you," he said. "Hold on I must have left him outside."

When he walked back inside, he came back with a droid that looked familiar to me. I then realized it was R2-D2, Anakin's droid. I held back my excitement. R2 made some happy beeps when he saw me. It was clear we recognized each other. He played the message. Leia stood there saying "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope." "You see, this is why I have to find Obi-Wan!" he explained "I have a connection to this girl I know it." "Well, you're lucky you found me," I said, "why?" He asked. "Why, because I am Obi-Wan Kenobi" I replied. "But you can call me Ben Kenobi." 

"So.. what do I do now." He asked. "You can go back home, Erase the file, and forget about this?" I suggested  "No I can't" he whispered, "Owen and Beru are dead." This left quite a shock for me. "How?" I asked. "I could only assume the stormtroopers were looking for these droids." He said. "There is another one?" I asked, "Yes, C-3PO and R2-D2." No wonder they were looking for the droids. "They contain very valuable information," I told Luke. "I don't know what to do," Luke replied. "Well you could always stay here with me," I said. 

"I knew your father" I stated to make him feel like I wasn't a complete stranger. "Really," he said in awe. "I never heard many stories about him," he said. "He was a great Jedi," I said "but was eventually killed off by Darth Vader." Luke, like many young boys, had probably heard of Darth Vader and the Jedi. "Oh.., Owen and Beru never told me that," he said. "Did you fight beside him?" he asked "Yes, I did," I replied. "In fact, I think I still have his lightsaber," I said pulling it out of a chest and giving it to him. "Woah," he said as he turned it on. 

"Alright," I said. "It is getting late and we should get some rest before tomorrow. It will be a long day. And that's enough new information for today.--" Ahsoka then came out of the other room. "Before we rest, there is someone I would like you to meet. She also fought beside your father, and her name is Ahsoka Tano." I explained.
