10: Captured

I woke up to find myself in a dark room, and as I started to gain consciousness again: I realized I was in a cell.

 Darth Vader had finally managed to capture me. As I sat on the cold floor of the cell my mind began to wander, leaving me to think about several things. I wondered what Darth Vader had in store for me. I sure wasn't telling anything to the empire and I had nothing to say either, so I didn't understand what the use was to capture me. I began to think of an escape plan. I really didn't have many options since I was locked in a cell and I didn't have a keycard to open it. I was about to activate my plan when the door to my cell opened. I didn't look up but I knew Darth Vader had entered my cell, his name feared in every part of the galaxy. his heavy breathing echoed through every room. his hatred and fear spread across the galaxy. I would recognize him anywhere. 

'what do you want" I snarled at him. "you know very well what I want," he said to me. "I will never tell you anything" I snapped back at him. I heard him say something under his breath I think it was "And this is why you earned the name Snips." Even so, I still missed that name.

"My old Padawan, or should I just say... citizen?" Well, that really annoyed me, it's always what master windu would call me, well- after I left the order. No... I wouldn't let him push my buttons. "Join me, and we can rule the galaxy together as master and padawan." he said "I will never join you and your empire," I said to Vader. "Don't you want to be reunited with your master?" He questioned.

 "You're walking on really thin ice Vader, also you called me a citizen, just to annoy me. Even if I was thinking about joining you, (which I'm not) why would I now? I am never going to join the empire so LEAVE ME ALONE AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE!!" I screamed, not realizing how emotional Darth Vader made me feel.

"As so it seems" Vader murmured as he left the room. I could tell something had changed in him. I reached into his mind. Trying my best even though he was more powerful.  I found that the darkness was there.. but it almost seemed as if he was trying to fight it. I reached into his mind again and I felt some light. he was corrupted in darkness trying to fight to be light. 'I have to help.' I thought. Even though he has changed, he is still my master and always will be so I will do my best to help him. I tried my best to make another plan. It's a little crazy but I really don't have that much of a choice. I would just have to wait for the right time.

Meanwhile, while I was sitting in my cell, the force decided to show me another vision. wo ho! lucky me!

Anakin and Obi-wan were around a fire. Anakin looked as if something troubled him. "Anakin," Obi-wan said. "dwelling on Ahsoka's decision won't bring her back." he stated "I miss her, okay? is that what you wanted me to say.?" Anakin replied to Obi-Wan. "I still can't understand how she could have left the order!" Anakin said, sighing. "Anakin it was a surprise to all of us," Obi-wan said, trying to make him calm about it. "it was wrong. she's a Jedi she belongs with us!" Anakin said to obi wan. "She's one of us," Anakin said sadly. "She made her choice Anakin" Obi-wan said. "well what choice did we give her!!" Anakin shouted back. "the moment there were any suspicions about her loyalty the council turned their back on her." Anakin said, his back to Obi-Wan." I will grand your mistakes were made but she chose to leave the order" Obi-wan said to Anakin. "part of the Jedi way is not letting your emotion cloud our judgment.. and that's precisely what Ahsoka did. even in her most critical moment. why don't you get some rest?" Obi-Wan suggested to Anakin, attempting to end the conversation.

 "I'm not tired," said Anakin. "you rest master. ill keep the first watch" Anakin said. "well," then Obi-wan said. "I will accept you're kind offer." Obi-Wan got up and went to sleep "You can't take responsibility for Ahsoka's decision Anakin" Obi-wan said "How would you feel if I turned into a massive disappointment?" Anakin asked "It's not the same," Obi-wan said. "it is precisely the same." said Anakin. "you took me under your wing and practically raised me. I'm your padawan just like Ahsoka was mine. how well would you sleep knowing I failed you?" asked Anakin. "not very well I imagine," said Obi-Wan "Luckily it isn't true and it never will be," he said. " Ahsoka wasn't just a padawan she was a friend. a sister, a daughter. I don't know what I will do without her. what if by failing her I fail myself? what will happen to Ahsoka? what will this lead me to do in the future?" said Anakin heads in his hands. "everything will be fine again" said Obi-wan "but I don't know what to do. I'm broken. the moment she left a part of me slipped away."

 Then while Obi-Wan was asleep Anakin cried silently through the night.

I woke up startled. Had Anakin really missed me that much? Is this why he turned to the dark side? Did I cause this? questions kept running through my head. 'this all my fault'  I thought 'If I hadn't left him....... I could have prevented this from happening!!' I started to cry for Anakin, then I heard a siren go off in the ship. The Death Star was being attacked!!

LUKES POV:

"no!" I screamed as Ahsoka force pushed me into the ship. I didn't want to leave her, who knows what the empire would do to her. They could have killed her for all I knew! "we have to go back for Ahoka!" I said. "whoah there blondie, we can't. Even if I felt like being awfully risky (which I don't) the Millennium Falcon is almost out of fuel, plus it needs a repair job. hate to break it to you kid, but we need a pit stop AND a plan." Hn solo said. "ugh," Leia sighed "As much as I'd like to disagree with this Nerf herder, unfortunately, he is right. take us to the fourth moon of Yavin, that is where the base is. the rebel base will be expecting my return. "wait you're with the rebellion?" I asked "yea what about it?" she answered "That's just really cool" I replied. As we started to head for the fourth moon of Yavin off in our ship.

 I had to hope I wasn't too late. I couldn't lose Ahsoka after I'd just lost Ben. Right then I heard a cold voice in my mind, I think it was Darth Vader. 'Best be warned young skywalker, the Emporer will kill you and everyone you care about if you do not agree with us' it said. well, that worried me. 'Agree about what'i wondered. I couldn't think about it now. we had different matters at hand.

"We've had a plan to destroy the Death Star for a long time, but now it's time to put it into action." Leia Organa said. "Are  we ready?"
