2: Meeting The Rebels

I sat in my hiding place for hours waiting for the sun to set. I chose a time later at night so there would be fewer stormtroopers to fight. The ship would arrive any minute now. Then, I could start making a plan. I was going to make one beforehand but then I decided to wing it. That's what my master would do. After a little while, the ship finally arrived. It was picking up cargo, probably for the empire. I peeked around the corner and watched as the ship landed. The ship was small, but not that small. It was mostly white/grey, but it had some yellow touches.

I watched as 5 people walked out of the ship. One was a small boy with blueish, black hair and an orange jumpsuit. Another was a tall man with brown hair and a tiny beard on his chin, whom I felt a connection to, which was weird because we had never met before. There was also a Mandalorian girl with colorful hair and armor, a green Twi'lek, and a purple Lasat. I wasn't expecting 5 people but, oh well. While I was beginning to think of a way to steal their ship without attracting too much attention since there were more people than I thought, something unexpected happened. Instead of getting cargo as I thought, stormtroopers ran out and started to shoot them. They returned the fires. The boy and the man pulled out lightsabers and started fighting with the others. I then realized who they were. I had heard rumors about the rebels and the resistance but I never saw them in action. So I couldn't really believe it then. I certainly do now. They must have shot down the ship that was supposed to come here and taken their place so they could destroy the facility. 

After they defeated all the stormtroopers, they started placing bombs around the facility. 'Hm, they're doing a good job at this'  I thought. but then,  I saw a trooper call for reinforcements, and they would be arriving soon. I looked around the corner a few minutes later and saw more stormtroopers go in. 'that would be the reinforcements' I thought. when they came out, there were about 11 left but they had the rebels in cuffs. I knew I would have to reveal myself now so I took a deep breath and stepped in front of the stormtroopers,  lightsaber activated.

I got into my position and defeated them in no time flat. 'Clearly, these people don't have much experience with stormtroopers.'  I thought with a smirk on my face. I uncuffed them just as more stormtroopers arrived. There were almost 200 of them right rushing to defeat us. We started moving towards the ship as we fought, and little by little we defeated the stormtroopers. "Everybody get on the ship," the Tw'ilik said. We ran onto the rim of the ship as she prepared to take off. "Hit it," the boy said to the Mandalorian. She rolled her eyes and hit a red button, making the whole building explode. Then we jumped to hyperspace.

They stood there and cheered for their victory, though it was not that impressive because I have had missions much harder before.  Then, everyone looked over at me; "I'm Hera, this is Zeb, Sabine, Kanan, and Ezra. Who might you be?" Hera asked

"Ahsoka, Ahsoka Tano"  I replied.
