aaliyah had the most amazing life: perfect family, perfect friends, a perfect boyfriend... at least that's what everybody thought. with cheating, sex, drugs, family secrets, toxicity, and unnerving jealousy, the girl's life was a total train-wreck and was unraveling at the seams. her parents barely spoke to each other, and if they did, it was just a huge blowup of them arguing nonstop. before she could even say sabotage, she lost one of her closest friends to the hands of disloyalty. and things always have been rocky with her boyfriend nick... but they'd somehow gotten much worse as of recently.
lucky for aaliyah, she was amazing at covering it all up. her putting on extravagant makeup, a brand new outfit, and plastering on a confident smile was the equivalent of putting on a disguising mask. except she couldn't be caught without it or she'd lose just about everything.
after encountering two certain pogues: one being her ex boyfriend, jj maybank. her summer changes for the absolute better. that is if she can balance a double life without anyone on figure eight finding out...
