"Just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life, and take a swan dive off the roof of a building" Midoriya turns around holding back tears, and looks at Bakugo with anger in his eyes. "Something wrong?" Bakugo says as his hands start to clench. "N-No, n-not at all" Midoriya says trembling.
Bakugo pushes Midoriya against the wall with his hand around his throat. Midoriya feels his hands getting hotter and hotter. Bakugo was going on and on about Midoriya how he'll never make it as a hero, that he didn't realize he was burning Midoriya's neck until he screamed.
"KACCHAN LET GO OF ME! YOU'RE HURTING ME!" Bakugo quickly dropped him only to see his neck burned and bloody. "For wanting to be the #1 hero, you sure act like a villain, Bakugo". Midoriya quickly got his bag and left his school crying on the way out. Bakugo was shocked at what he said. He whispered underneath his breath "I'm sorry Izuku".
When Midoriya was running home, he realized he couldn't let his mom see him like this so instead, he texted his mom that he'll be home a bit later. He decided to go to his secret spot, a calm and peaceful clearing in the woods with a small pond inside. It's where all his troubles and worries disappeared.
On the way there, he saw a boy, just a bit taller than him, sitting outside his house crying. He had a huge bandage wrapped around his eye. Even though he was hurting, he asked the boy what's wrong. "M-My mother...burned my eye," he said holding back tears. "WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT?!?!"

Todoroki's POV
This green-haired boy looks more injured than I am and he's asking me what's wrong? He really is an angel. He actually looks kinda cute.

"She said I remind her of my scum bag father" "Oh, I'm sorry. Can I look at it?" "Sure, sorry, where are my manners, I'm Shoto Todoroki" "YOU'RE THE SON OF ENDEAVOR! Now I kinda understand why you may not like him" "What's your name?" "I'm Izuku Midoriya". He gave Todoroki the biggest and brightest smile he's ever seen. Todoroki was a little flustered and shoved his head in his shirt. Todoroki asked why his neck was burned and bloody.
"There's this boy at my school who used to be my childhood best friend. When he found out I was quirkless, he bullied me and this was caused by him today" "I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you Zuku" 'O////////O' Midoriya was happy that Todoroki accepted the fact that he was quirkless. He buried his face in his palms so Todoroki wouldn't see him blushing. "Don't cover your beautiful face Zuku" Midoriya quickly stood up. "C-Can I take you to my secret place?" "Sure". When they went, they spent all night laughing, talking, and staring at the stars. "Can you come here every day around this time Sho?" "I promise Zuku" And with that, Midoriya fell asleep on Todoroki's lap.
