Chapter 1 - On the road again

Warning: This is the second book in a series. If you haven't read the other one first, you may get confused. Please read "Blair Miriel's Mansion" if you haven't already.

      "Sweety, did you make sure you packed everything?" Inko Midoriya called out as her son put his backpack on and picked up some luggage.

      "Yeah, mom," Izuku Midoriya called back. It was now summer vacation and he and his friends were planning on taking the time off to travel to an abandoned jail known as Lucifer's Prison. Ok, it's actually known as Ga netto, but it gained the nickname due to a lot of terrible rumors that had been floating around during the time it was active. "What about you?"

      "Same here," Inko smiled at her child. She and Mr. Yagi were planning on going on their honeymoon during this time too. "Make sure you stay safe out there, ok?"

      "Of course." Obviously, Izuku's mom doesn't know the full extent of her son's trip. Ever since she saw the video of his stay at the mansion, she's been worried sick about him staying at other haunted areas. So, Izuku told her that he and the others were going to stay at a hotel instead. Of course, as soon as she sees the video after they get back, he knows he's going to get into some big trouble.

      "Bye Izuku! Have a nice trip!" Inko called out as her son got into the RV.

      "I will! Bye!" Izuku waved back before closing the door and putting his stuff away.

      "Did your mommy give you kisses before you left?" Katsuki teased from behind the wheel.

      "More than yours gives you," The greenette replied without any hesitation.

      The blond paused for a bit before replying. "I think you and Icyhot have been hanging out a bit too much..."

      Izuku sat on the couch, shrugging at his friend's comment. He has indeed grown a little bit of a sarcastic side since hanging out with his group the "RealGhostHunters". The event at the mansion was also a big boost of confidence.

      They left and picked up Denki and then Kirishima. When they got to the Todoroki household, however, things seemed to go downhill. Shouto, who was always ready to leave his house, wasn't even outside waiting for them like he usually would.

      Katsuki honked the horn a few times and, eventually, the candy-cane came out. But, he was rushing with a big scowl on his face. He got into the RV and plopped himself on the chair without so much as a word.

      "Shouto-" Izuku began but was quickly cut off.

      "Just drive," Shouto interrupted as he leaned into the chair.

      Katsuki just kind of shrugged and then put the RV into gear. The traffic light trio looked at each other then back at their friend. Obviously, something happened, but Shouto didn't want to talk about it, nor did the others want to make him feel uncomfortable. They just sat there in silence until Izuku decided to pull out his camera.

The camera opens to Izuku.

Izuku: Hello, everyone! we're on our way to a place known as "Ga netto". Nicknamed; "Lucifer's Prison" for it's unethical way of punishing it's inmates.

He turns the camera towards Shouto.

Izuku: Shouto! Got any facts on this place?

Shouto briefly looks at the camera but quickly looks away.

Shouto: No.

Izuku: Ok...

Izuku turns the camera back towards himself.

Izuku: Well, apparently, the place was where they put the really dangerous criminals. But, because of that, the guys working there thought that meant they could get away with anything, so they started just straight up torturing the inmates. It ended up becoming the prison with the highest amount of "accidental" deaths and suicides. Eventually the government found out what they were doing and shut the whole thing down.

Denki: Geeze...

Izuku turns the camera to Denki and Eijirou.

Denki: This is the first I'm hearing of this...

Katsuki: They say that spirits of the inmates wander the halls looking for people to seek revenge on.

Eijirou: Sounds like a straight up horror film...

      Izuku put on a small smile. "No need to worry, after Blair Miriel's Mansion, nothing scares me anymore. After all, we haven't gotten a good ghost encounter since then."

      Denki scoffed. "You call that a 'good' ghost encounter?!"

      "You know what I mean." The greenette rolled his eyes and then turned back to the camera. "Well, we'll spare you guys the boring trip and skip to when we're there. Peace out."

      After he held up a peace sign, he turned off the camera.
