After going over what they all experienced, they came to the conclusion that this place might be haunted. They used the term "might" due to the skeptics still not fully convinced, despite not coming up with proper explanations. Although, they all agreed that if this place was indeed haunted, the place with the most activity seemed to be the gas chamber. So, they decided to all gather in that chamber around 3:00 AM to see if they can capture any activity. Hopefully, this time nobody will get hurt.
Until the time came for them to leave, they watched the monitors and did a spirit box session at their base to see if they could get anything. A few shadow figures passed by the cameras and they also caught doors opening and closing on their own. Due to the fact that they were all in one place, there was nothing that could have caused it. They didn't get anything on the spirit box, however.
At 2:40, they got up and headed for the gas chamber. The teens and Shigaraki all sat in a circle while Izuku held the spirit box. Dabi and Jin stayed in the doorway, blocking the door from closing on them just in case. Last thing they needed was the door to slam shut and the room be engulfed in flames or something.
Izuku took a big breath and let it out before speaking. "If you're here, please give us a sign."
No response.
"Did you die here?"
No response.
"Who killed you?"
Suddenly, a loud scream emanated from the box, catching everyone off guard.
"Maybe we should stop," Denki said in fear, remembering what happened the last time they were successful.
The greenette looked at him and shook his head before continuing. "Were you a prisoner?"
"Die," A voice came out of the box.
"Umm... Maybe he's right. We should stop..." Eijirou warned.
"Show yourself," Izuku continued. "OW!"
"Izuku!" His teammates all yelled at his sudden outburst of pain.
"I'm fine, I just felt something on my arm." He placed his hand on his right arm in pain.
Katsuki, who was sitting to his right, took his friend's hand off and rolled up his sleeve. There was a huge scratch mark going from under his elbow to the top of his shoulder.
"This is turning out the way it did last time, we need to stop," Bakugou explained as he looked at the mark.
"But, if we don't get enough evidence, Shouto will-" Izuku tried to explain but was cut off by the very person he just mentioned.
"Izuku, I'd never forgive myself if you got hurt just to help me," Shouto told him, his voice low.
The greenette looked at him and then looked down at the spirit box. Before he could come up with a response, the door tried to slam close. Fortunately, Toya and Jin were standing in the way and kept it open.
"As the adult here, I say we leave," Dabi told the kids, ignoring that there were two other adults in the room.
"But-" Izuku began, but this time the spirit box interrupted with yet another ear piercing scream. The door again tried to slam shut, hitting Jin pretty hard on his arm and shoulder to the point that it might bruise. Seeing another person get hurt was enough. He turned off the box and the team got up to leave.
