Y/N's POV:

"Oi, Y/N... Wake up... It's time to go..."

That same voice, it was the exact same one from before, with that same annoying tone.

"What? I don't want to leave..." You replied.

"You have to... you don't have a choice."

"That's unfair."

"Life isn't fair, Y/N. I thought you would've realized by now."

"No, it's only the beginning, right...? It's just beginning... My starting point."

"You're right. So do whatever you need to do to move from there, all right?"

"All right..."

Your eyes flashed open, looking around to find yourself in the same place you had fallen asleep.

I wonder what that dream meant...

The warm, morning sun was barely hovering over the horizon; the sky was still a motionless dark blue.

You double checked to see if you still had the necklace around your neck, feeling the coolness of the metal around your fingers. It's still there...

Laying right next to Eren on the ground, you could see his chest rise and fall, repeatedly in sync with yours.

His face was completely undisturbed, free from all the horrors he had experienced yesterday.

Aww... that's kind of cute to see... You thought to yourself.

Eren looked so peaceful, so calm, so... unlike him. It was unsettling, but also very soothing to see.

"Eren?" You whispered while rubbing your eyes tiredly, "Are you—?"

"You shouldn't wake him." A voice suddenly interrupted.

Huh? Who was that?

You turned, and Mikasa was sitting near you, hugging her knees tightly with that same plain expression on her face.

"M-Mikasa?" You stammered. "Where's Armin? I..."

She noticed that you couldn't exactly find the right words to say, so she sighed:

"Armin's still sleeping on the other side of Eren, which gives us time to talk."

Turning to look, you saw Armin sleeping peacefully near Eren, and then you turned back to Mikasa.

"I know what you want to talk about, and I don't like it, but I'll hear you out as if I didn't know anyway." You pursed your lips in uneasiness.

Her dark, sparkling, black eyes caught your attention, which seemed like they've been used to carrying nothing and everything.

"I think you should leave." Mikasa stated coldly.

"Wait, what??"

"Without Eren seeing you, I mean."

The very thought made you fiddle with your shirt, which still hid the necklace your mother gave you.

"Mikasa, I want to stay!" You argued back. "Just until Eren wakes up—"

"No! You're only making it harder on yourself and on Eren. I don't want to be rude, but if you're not going, then I'm pushing you out."

"But...!"
