What they don't tell you is that when no one cares about you, you end up birthing yourself.
And that it takes strength to give oneself strength.
To breathe life into one's own lungs, to set up every single bone in your body.No one talks of the shame of being fatherless,
of how silent it makes you in front of friends,
how the world finds a way to tell you that you're lacking, as if you didn't find everything you needed within yourself.
