#5 Grievers Come To The Glade

Thomas: When night came upon the glade you notice that most of the gladers have gathered near the doors with their torches and you knew why, because the doors weren't closing! You saw Thomas run towards the doors too with Newt, Gally and the others, and you follow.

As you try and catch up to them, you shout,"Thomas!" To try and and least get his attention and ask what to do about the doors. As you come closer, you shout once more,but you were cut off when Thomas screamed and turned around to face you. He immediately grabbed your wrist as you both to start to sprint towards the fields. When you all crouch down on the field, with a worried/confused expression on my face, you asked,"Thomas, whats going on." He just looked start at your eyes and held your hands.

When he did, you just held his hands, tightly.

Newt: (You took Teresa's place in the box cage and Newt was the one most kind when you were new) So of course when most of the other gladers were gathering around the gigantic doors you followed. When you saw Newt, you came up behind him and asked,"Whats happening?" He replied saying, "well these doors are suppose to close by sundown and the problem is, they aren't."

After you stood there dumbfound, you asked,"but if the doors aren't closing why would that be a problem." As you said that out came an echoed roar. After that you heard Thomas scream, "Everybody Hide!" When the monsters came, you stood stunned and unaware at what was before you. You heard Newt scream for your name from behind, but just stood there as the monster came closer.

All of a sudden a force turned you back to reality, Newt.

Minho: You just recently got back on a run with Minho and Thomas, you all were currently in the medjacks building checking on Alby. You were near the door frame as Thomas crouched to talk to Alby, when you heard distance shouting and you left them to see what all the commotion was all about. Most of the other gladers were near the doors so you jogged towards them as well.

When most of the gladers started asking you questions about the doors, (you see next to Minho, you know the maze just as well as him). You just shrug your shoulders to all of them as you take a torch from a glader and you enter the maze once more, but with the dim settings you walk slowly to see what happened. As you continue to walk, you swear, you heard someone call your name from behind, but you were to curious about the doors. As the sound of you name started to be repeated, you finally turned around and see Minho sprinting towards you and screaming 'run' with also a few gladers screaming and gesturing you to come back, while others were running the other way. You had a confused expression until you felt heavy breathing just above you! You look up at the monster and throw the flaming torch right at the griever's face and ran towards Minho's safe arms.

Gally: You were right next to Gally with a torch, wondering about the doors like everyone else was. While Gally was talking to some other glader about the doors being Thomas's fault, you walked a little closer to get a better look.

When you tried you heard someone scream "GRIEVER!" But before you can turn and run like the others, you were pushed and dropped your torch. You heard Gally trying to scream your name through the crowd trying to find you but with the sun down and the crowd of people running you lost Gally.

You just ran towards random gladers, asking where Gally was, but they didn't care enough to respond while they ran for their life. As you continue to run you hear someone shout Gally's name, towards the box cage. When you get closer to the cage, you see a glader screaming,"Gally to open up the cage!" But it was too late he was swiped up by a griever nearby the cage. As the griever was distracted, you slowly try to make your way in the cage.

You quietly whisper Gally before the griever was no longer distracted. When Gally looks up towards you through the metal doors, in a panic he opens the cage doors for you and when you jump in closing the doors above you, you just hug Gally knowing you were safe as long as you were together.
