After that dramatic event, I casually went to the comfort room. Leaning against the sink, I took deep breaths. Oh my gosh what the hell. I'm in some deep shit. Facing the mirror, I decided to wash my face with cold water to refresh myself. But the panic I'm still feeling did not went away.
You can do this girl. She's just a barbie.
A barbie who has a much higher rank than you.
Who cares about ranks?
You do, idiot.
I shook my head. And now I'm having mental arguments inside my head. I wiped my face with my unused handkerchief. Grabbing the courage to exit, I walked towards the door. But before I can even reach the thick piece of rectangular wood, two girls came barging in the comfort room.
To my luck, the door slammed in to my face. Sarcasm noted? Good.
"Omg, we heard what happened, are you okay?" Melanie ran up to me.
"Mel! I didn't think you need to push the door that hard," Faith scolded.
"Guys, I'm okay. But I think my nose isn't," I said, holding my nose.
"I'm sorry! I was worried. You know how bitchy Anna can be," She frowned, looking at me with sincerity. I caressed my nose and glanced at her. "Yeah, fine. I'm okay though," I smiled. Ignoring the throbbing pain in my nose, I exited the comfort room. Not looking back 'cause I know they'd be following me. "I thought you guys stayed outside?" I asked them. Faith shrugged, "News spreads fast."
Great.

Time did fly fast that day. Since I don't like walking home with my small circle, I walk alone. Just so I can ponder about things. I'm such a dramatic little shit.
BEEP!
I jumped at the sound of the horn beside me. "Duck," I said. Placing a hand on my heart. "Oh damn, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you," I stopped walking as Luke's car stopped. "W-what are you doing?" I asked him, "Well I was going the same way, then I saw you, so I thought that I could drive you home?"
"Ahh, no thanks," I said and quickly walked away. "Wait!" He called out, but I didn't bother stopping. I heard the car's door shut and heard footsteps getting louder behind me. Oh you did not. "Hey," Luke's voice was near. And by near I mean beside me. I didn't respond.
"Is that how you treat people who gives you some random act of kindness?" I can hear the smirk in his voice. I thought this guy was an 'okay' guy? "Okay sorry," He blurted out. I slowed my pace and stared at him.
He did too. So we we're basically staring at each other while walking. Luke was the first one to look away though. But wait.. why the heck was I staring at him in the first place? Ah, right.
"S-sorry for what?" I hate this damn stuttering, he's just a guy. Why was I stuttering? "For making you uncomfortable," He answered. I can almost hear the sincerity in his voice. "Oh, it's okay. I-I mean, thank you though and, yeah," I sputtered. I looked down so that my hair could serve as a curtain for Luke and I.
I could feel my cheeks heating up from embarrassment. I walked faster and I heard Luke chuckle behind me. Not bothering to look up, I ignored him. But kept my pace. "Watch out!" I heard him warn, but instead of actually 'watching out', I turned my head to where he was. But he wasn't there.
"Lu- oof!"
"What a surprise, you bumped in to me again," Since I was just at Luke's shoulder level, I stared up to him. That idiot was grinning. "I told you to watch out," I hate him already.
"Idiot," I muttered. "What?" My eyes widened, "Ah, nothing."
Gaining confidence, I asked him, "Are you following me?" I stopped walking and just faced him. "What? No."
"We've been walking in the same direction," I deadpanned.
"I live at the house right next to yours"
My mouth hanged open. "Better close that mouth babe," he winked and continued walking."Why didn't I know that?!" I said, flailing my arms around. But he chuckled and replied, "You practically live in your room," We walked in silence until we reached our houses. Both of us were in front of my door. "Thanks," I said quietly and entered my house. Well Dad's house.
"Hooome!" I yelled, and ran up to my room. I threw my bag to the side and slammed my door closed. I threw myself to my bed, my soft comforting bed.
After convincing myself to do homework, I got up and opened my window for fresh air.
And fresh body.
My eyes widened at the sight. Luke looks like (hehe) he just out from the shower, judging by the towel wrapped around his waist. And he's using a smaller towel to dry off his hair.
He turned around like he felt someone was watching him, which was, I. "Get your stinking body off my view," I blurted as I closed the curtains.
"Idiot."
