Chapter 3

In front of the door, King arose his alertness. Unlike a second ago, instead of being attracted by the house, he felt the huge feeling to run away from it.

Various thought passed through his mind.

"Should I go back?"

King seriously considered the question. An ominous force was behind the door, he should run away from it. He had the impression that he would die the moment he would open the door.

He relied on his immortality as a player and check what the strange house was hiding. Even so he felt huge fear; these were the status that EGO inflicted, the paroxysm of realism, even immortal feared death there.

He then took a deep breath, opened the door slowly. Then ...

King couldn't even read all the notification. He passed through all the status depletion in a second. He felt his body being trapped by invisible chain, then an unbearable burn, then a bone-freeze, then he felt a huge desire to fall to the ground, then the ground seemed like it was moving on its own, then his eyes became so heavy as if death itself told him to sleep.

King was about to close his eyes when he came to his sense. He passed through something a human shouldn't experience for a second and he should be broken. But King was special. Before entering the door he prepared to anything. And one thing was sure, King was sure a special being, once his mind is ready, nothing would stop him. He had the ferocious will of fire and the strong mind of a fortress.

King accumulated all his force, he tried to get up in vain but he was decided to live, he won't die no matter what. Pain and Hardship, he experienced it many time in real life, his thin physics made him in disadvantage back then in martial art school, but he was a winner, he endured all sort of training, a persistent parasite, to become the "youngest talent of the martial art".

King screamed with all his lungs in. That wasn't a scream of despair or a scream of pain that was the cry of a lion, a beast which was fighting for his life to the end. That was the first stale of King's legend.
