King stood alone in the top of the Bun Mountain. He observed all the way he had been through for the last 2 years.
"Time for revenge you damn orc and elf!"
An arrow pierced the soil near him. He got a chill running through his spine. "Why are they here?" he thought.
"I was waiting for you!" "Invest all remaining Stat point into Agility." Elf couldn't even understand human language but King still didn't want to show that he lost his coolness.
(Agility +100)
The Bun Mountain top wasn't large. With now a 150 Agilty and World Sensing, King closed up the 30 meters away from the two elves who were shooting at him by jumping little by little behind the rocks who were scattered through all the area.
But the elves were considered as intelligent monster. They alternated their shooting so King didn't have much room to breathe and as King closed up they widened the distance by falling back little by little.
That happened for about 15 minutes; the two elves were shooting while widening the distance as King closed it up. Until the two elves couldn't retreat anymore, they were trapped, behind them there was no ground anymore, there was a cliff. King got them. He moved to incite the elf to fall back into this direction. The elves couldn't retreat anymore.
But actually it's a stalemate. There was no rock anymore as well and he was about 10 meters away from the two elves. During his climb, some elves could touch him even at 200 meters; the two he was actually were fighting were level 195 and level 197. They were novice when compared to all the elves he fought to the day. That explain why they didn't touch King with the first arrow they shoot but at 10 meters, they will touch him for sure.
"Pathetic! They sacrificed the young ones to scout if Tott was gone." King thought.
No elf dared to approach Tott's shelters, as so the moment its presence disappeared they sent those two to scout out if the zone was safe.
The situation was anticipated by King. He thought all the battle long about how he would fight the elf the moment there was no rocks anymore. He couldn't find any other way but...
"Heeey you dumb elf! You are so bad at archery that Tatia would have committed suicide if she saw you!!! You are so dumb that my Grandma would even beat you at it." He revealed his head above the rock to the elves while sticking his tongue out to them. "You suck! You should stop archery!..."
... to taunt them. Human and elf language were different, that was a ridiculous idea. But the elf could understand his action; they could understand that King was insulting them. Human who'd laugh to the situation but monster was monster after all.
Their eyes began to turn red from anger. Someone dared to insult them at archery, he showed his head as if to say you can't even touch me. Elf's pride reside in their archery, and yet someone provoked them at it. They began to shoot the entire arrow they had remaining out of rage.
The rock where King was hiding began to collapse. "I didn't plan that." King thought.
King wanted the elf to use their arrow but the destruction of the rock wasn't planned. In real life, the arrow would have just bounced back to the rock but actually in a game there was something called attack power. It was a game mechanics which affect the power of someone but also the power of the used object.
If it was Orc, it was realistic for the rock to be destroyed as they were considered as one of the monster race with the highest attack power; but the elf were agility-intelligence type monster, King thought that they didn't had the attack power to destroy rocks. But what he actually overlooked is that in EGO, monster had something called "anger-buff" . They lose their sanity in exchange for a huge buff in both attack and speed.
