"Why is there no status?"

"These were my power; I wanted to test you back then. But more importantly, why can I feel Hella's power on you? She was already dead when Solemn cursed us Gods, and Demons didn't receive the curse."

"That's a long story."

"Please tell me, I have all my time."

King then counted to Tott his struggle through Bun Mountain and his encounter with the queen of Hell.

"So she gave you her power? That is interesting. Tell me, do you fear her?"

King looked down; he didn't want to tell about his powerlessness facing the one he would one day fight. He didn't want to experience such fear again. That was a game but he really felt his live would be taken if he ever fights with her. These were EGO's lesson; immortality wasn't a gage of courage.

"I..." King wanted to tell that it wasn't the case but he was silent. He really felt it was impossible.

"It's okay to fear her. She isn't someone to be faced alone; your destiny isn't to walk alone. You are not a god or a great demon, Solemn knew it so she summoned numbers of your kind. She isn't someone to be faced alone; your fight will be accompanied by ally."

(Is that one of the mysterious hidden effect again?)King thought.

King thought about a famous rumor about EGO, it is a game which encourages socialization. There's no official commitment about it but it is known by every player: you feel less pain in a party than when alone.

Some of EGO's specialist tried to deny this fact but every player realized it, being alone wasn't a good thing in an adventure game. Obviously, just being a member of a guild was already enough to diminish greatly the pain, forcing someone to socialize was bad, some people liked being alone.

"Please tell me, can I do it alone." King asked.

"I can't predict the future, but tell me why would you refuse a helping hand?"

"I understand."

"Now tell me, who did you choose between the legends?"

"Luffylius, I have chosen Luffylius."

Tott had a moment of silence, "Luffylius? Interesting, he is the legend with the smallest achievement. His fame is only recognized toward pirate."

"I know, He was the pirate King which has defied Poseidon. That is the only thing known about him."

"And you still choose him. You are not ignorant of Ken's legend, the only who could fight a dragon himself or Mul the half-giant which conquered the Empire in seven days. You decided to postpone the fulfillment of my task because you needed to think about it yet your choice still seems hazardous."

King didn't deny those words. He has bet this choice on a color, there was no reason to think that it meant something. Above all, that was something based on speculation.But...

"I have made my choice I want to go with Luffylius."... he has already made his decision, a bet he made. And no matter if it's the worst he would keep up with his talent.

"Do you realize that you are sleeping on other legend's incredible achievement? They passed a century building their fame through hardship nobody would imagine. Luffylius's legend is based on speculation and pass ear from pirates. He was only active a year before passing away, his fame was nothing when compared to other legends, he was still a newborn compared to them. I will give you time to reconsider."
