The warm, gentle rays of sunlight woke me up from my slumber.

Slowly, I opened my eyes to be greeted by the ceiling.

Where...?

I made a quick scan of my surroundings to realize that I was in a hospital room.

I sighed and looked at the window that was on my left as the sunlight shone on my face.

Looks like Ayato managed to pull me out of the sewers.

I really should thank him when I get the chance.

I sighed and tried to raise my right hand to pull a strand of hair away from my eyes, but was stopped by some sort of weight holding it back.

I used my left hand to move the strand of hair away before carefully sitting up on the bed.

When I looked over to my right, my eyes widened slightly in shock at the sight before me.

Urie was resting his head on the side of my bed while holding my hand.

He was still wearing his uniform, I wonder if he's been here since Ayato brought me in?

His breaths were calm and it looks like he's asleep.

I softly smiled to myself; he looks really peaceful.

Suddenly, Urie started stirring in his sleep.

He let out a small groan before groggily opening his eyes.

Once he's fully conscious, Urie raised his head and sat up straight.

"Urie."

His eyes widened as he froze in place.

He quickly raised his head to the sound of my voice.

"Y/N?!"

We locked eyes.

I smiled gently as tears started to form in the corners of his eyes.

Without saying another word, he leapt out of his seat and wrapped his arms around me in a tight embrace.

Urie buried his head on my shoulder as he started to cry.

"I...I thought...you..."

"Shh," I said while gently rubbing his head, "It's okay."

I hugged him back as he cried his heart out.

Once Urie had calmed down, he let go of the hug with a sniffle.

"I was worried about you."

I cupped his cheeks before wiping his tears with my thumbs.

"I'm Phoenix, remember?" I said to cheer him up a little, "As if I would die from drowning in the leftovers of the Dragon."

Urie lightly chuckled as he leaned his head against my hand.

Then, we both realized the position we were in.

The two of us blushed and averted our gaze from each other.

Finally, Urie cleared his throat as I moved my hands away from his face while he sat down on his chair.

"Sorry about that, L/N-san."

And, he's back to his normal state.

I shook my head.

"It's fine," I said with a chuckle, "Um, if you don't mind me asking, how long have I been here?"

"Last night," Urie answered, "Kirishima-san's brother brought you here alongside with Sasaki."
