I'm here with an update! Within less than 24 hours after the previous one. Yeah you guessed it. I abandoned my studies. (Edit: WTF why didn't anyone tell me abt the ugly typo I made. It'd be 24, not 12 -_-)
Regarding today's cover, I myself am surprised at how it turned out. I did not imagine it as this. Like, every time a get a request form, I skim my eyes over the comment and, within 2 or 3 seconds, I develop a mental image of how I want the cover to look, how the text will be, etc etc. In this case too, the picture I imagined was with vectors and all, like the author had requested.
But later, after drawing for a few minutes, I realised that what I was doing was not at all matching the genre requested. So I went for a typography design instead.
Though I'm not sure if the typography one matches as well, but anyway, I personally think this is better than the vectors I was drawing.
Also, thank lord for the symmetry tool, I used it a LOT ;_;
