The portal appeared almost challenging as he started to doubt himself.

The plan is simple, he thought

Travel to when Tommy dies
Save him
Travel back, everything should be fine

It'll be fine

But.. what if it isn't? What if it all goes wrong? What if he can't do it?

What if it loops, and there's nothing he can do?

He clutched at his head, trying to get rid of the thoughts

After a few long seconds he looked back up at the portal, the turquoise swirling among the purple, cold black obsidian framing it.

With a sigh, he stepped into the portal

Sqeezing his eyes shut he let the weird feeling of being surrounded by small swirling ashes embrace him

About 10 seconds passed before he opened his eyes again, and instead of appearing back in his lab, he was in front of the Prison.

He took out his invisability potion from his belt, easily drinking it.

He stepped inside, gazing around dark grey walls.

He focused again once footsteps sounded near him

He turned back and saw Tommy entering the Prison too.

Karl smiled and followed him through

TNT went off, sirens blared, and Tommy yelled at Sam to let him out.

Of course, he didn't, and Tommy got stuck there for a week

Karl had been freezing time for himself in order to keep the invisability potion going

He watched as Dream and Tommy argued, until eveduantly Dream started to approach Tommy.

Karl stood behind him, ready to intervene once the blonde first got hit

Dream raised his fist

And brought them down

But not on Tommy

Dream twisted around, assumably uncomfortably, and instead grabbed Karl's hoodie

Karl gasped as Dream led him towards the lava flowing down slowly

He held him at the edge of the platform

Glaring down with his beady eyes on the cursed :) mask

And he let go

Karl could feel himself fall

Down

Into the lava

He felt the lava cover him

Burning him

He closed his eyes as the burning liquid engulfed him

Pain

Thats all he felt
