Theo's POV

Liam and I have been staying at the Beacon Hills abandoned zoo. We have been trying to drive the hunters away from Beacon Hills but Liam keeps getting angry at seemingly nothing. I decided to finally pull him aside and ask him what's going on.

I yanked him from our current spot "Something in here is triggering you, what is it?"

"I'm fine. Just leave it alone"

"I can't Liam because when something happens and you lose control I don't want to get my throat ripped out!"

"I won't lose control" he looked down at the leaf covered ground.

"How do I know that's true Liam?!"

He kept his head down, "Because you'll keep me in control" it came out as barely a whisper, but I heard him.

"What are you talking about Liam?"

"You keep me in control" he looked up and straight into my eyes.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that you help me with controlling myself" he looked down once again, "I think you might be my anchor"

I was in shock, "But I thought you hated me"

"You know I don't Theo"

As I was about to respond Nolan jumped out with his cross bow pointed our way. Liam turned to see him and his claws immediately came out along with his golden eyes. I grabbed his shoulder trying to hold him back but he just pushed it away and jumped at Nolan making them fall from the short cliff. I ran over and looked down to see Liam backing Nolan into a wall. I jumped down and knocked Liam out.

Nolan looked up at me with those innocent and terrified eyes and I couldn't resist, "Run"

Nolan stood up and ran for the hills. After seeing Nolan run the pack of hunters he was with followed.

"Come on puppy" I never called him that to his face but whenever I was alone or he was asleep that was always his name.

I picked Liam up and walked him to my truck. I placed him comfortably in the back and drove to his house. Upon arriving I noticed no one was home so I walked to the back seat and picked Liam up once again. I carried him up the stairs placing him nicely on his bed. I sat in his chair making sure to watch him so I could tell him what happened when he woke up. I must have not noticed how tired I was because soon all I saw was black.

Time jump to about 3am

I woke up to the moon shining through Liam's window. I looked to the clock, 3:28. I heard Liam shift in bed and immediately looked over. His eyes opened and he noticed he was in his bed.

"How did I get here?"

"I brought you"

"You carried me?" It looked like he blushed but I couldn't tell in the darkness.

"Yeah, problem?" I smirked.

"No" he looked down, "Thank you"

"No problem pup- Liam" he looked slightly confused at my stutter.

"You're not as feisty when you are asleep" I chuckled.

"I'm just tired" he laid back down a bit.

"Ok, I'll head off and let you get some proper sleep" I stood up walking to the door.

He spoke a little to quickly "No!"

I turned to him face him "don't leave"

Liam looked down in despair, "Hey, what's wrong? Don't be sad"

"Don't leave"

"Ok, I'll stay" he smiled up at me.

"I just don't want to lose control and you help me stay in control, even if it is by knocking me out" he laughed lightly.

He patted the spot next to him and I sat down. I turned to him bringing him into a hug to make sure he knows I'm always here for him.

"Thanks for being there for me"

"I'll always be here for you puppy" I gasped at my slip up and Liam pulled back.

"Puppy?" He said blushing.

"Y- yeah, you are like a little puppy"

"Your little puppy?" He asked blushing more.

"My little puppy"

He jumped on me hugging me again placing his hands around my chest. His head found its way into the crook of my neck and I smiled running my hands through his soft hair.

"Mmmm"

"Like that puppy?" I smirked.

"Yeaaahhh, keep going" I kept playing with his hair as he buried his face farther into my neck.

"Puppy?"

"Yeah Theo?"

I pulled him back and looked into his eyes, "Kiss goodnight?"

"Yes please"
