Liam's POV

"Noooo" tears covered my face.

"Liam help me! Liam!"

"Theo!" I ran to the spot where Theo was being pulled under...but the rocks raised up too quickly...Theo was gone.

Time jump to a month later

"Liam, let's go to the bar!"

"No"

"Come on! I don't know what happened but you have to stop. I'm pulling you out of this slump."

"No Mase, I can't"

"Other plans?"

"Yeah, I'm going to sit in my room"

"Ok, Corey!" Corey came running from downstairs.

"Yeah?"

Mason winked at him and they jumped on me. They picked me up and dragged me to Mason's car fighting my struggle.

"We are going to the bar and you are coming, whether you like it or not"

"Fine."

As Mason drove Corey whispered in my ear, "This is about Theo, isn't it?"

Both Mason and Corey have noticed I've been in a slump. I go to school and come home, I don't even bother with lacrosse anymore. They have been very concerned with my withdrawal from any social activities, but Corey is the one who guessed right. Theo must have told him about our relationship when they were in the same pack. I miss him so much. After school when I sprint to my room, avoiding my parents, I just sit in my bed thinking of him. Tears well up in my eyes before they start to fall like a river of sadness. It happens daily now. I miss him so much. The only time I ever see him is in my sleep. It's my only escape from the harsh reality that he is gone. It's like he was my air, now he's gone...and I can't breathe.

"Im fine, I'm just tired"

"If you say so"

As we pulled up to the club Mason and Corey yanked me in. We all made our way to the bar for some drinks. Mason ordered some virgin ice tea thing and Corey just ordered water. I sat down looking at the dance floor. My eyes couldn't help finding all the couples happily dancing. I remember when Theo used to dance with me. Whenever the the pack was occupied and my parents were out Theo would come over. We would make food and laugh. One day he couldn't stop humming a song. I recognized it as paper rings by Taylor Swift, he knows I love her. I pulled it up on my phone and as it played Theo took my hand. He spun me around and even dipped me a few times. He lifted me up and as I fell back down he kissed me. God, I miss him so much.

"Nothing to drink?"

"I'm good"

"Trouble in paradise?"

"Just missing someone"

"I hope you see them soon"

"Yeah, me too" a frown spread across my face, I'll never see him again.

I stood up from the bar making my way to a table. I looked at how the table was set, avoiding the couples on the dance floor this time. Salt and pepper against the wall and other condiments lying next to them, but what my eyes were really drawn to...was the small candle sitting in the middle. Theo used to bring me places like this. Not a bar, but places with candles. There would be a candle and a rose in the middle of the table. Theo would always pull my seat out for me before I even reached the table. He never failed to make me feel special on those dates. Always holding my hand and telling me how adorable I looked. One night he became frustrated by the flower set in the middle of the table because he couldn't see me. He pulled the flower from the vase and placed the vase on the floor. Then as we stood up to leave he handed me the rare white rose and smiled.
