Liam's POV

We walked hand in hand into the locker room to get ready. The first game of the season is always the most important and somehow always the most fun. I released his hand and went to get dressed. I took my shirt off and felt hands around my waist.

"Well don't I have the hottest boyfriend"

"Stop Brett" I blushed.

He left and went to get dressed as I continue getting ready. Theo and Mason are waiting outside to watch Corey, Brett, and I in the game. I'm glad Theo comes, he doesn't have any friends besides us and sometimes he barely hangs with us. Plus he's really nice to me, I don't know why but I'm not complaining.

"Asses on the field" Coach saw us all just look at him, "Now!"

We all laughed and ran out to the field taking our spots.

Time jump to after the game

"Nice win guys" Mason cheered as Corey picked him up and spun him around.

"Yeah, great job babe" and Brett did the same to me.

After Brett put me down and walked over to celebrate with the rest of the team Theo pulled me aside, "Great job li, you looked great out there" he winked making me blush.

"Thanks T" he pushed me towards the crowd, "Now go celebrate!"

Time jump to a few days later

"Come over tonight, I want to have some fun" Brett winked.

"I told you I'm not ready yet" I looked down.

"Fine" Brett pushed me to the lockers and walked away.

"Li are you ok?!" Theo ran over to me and inspected me quickly making sure I was ok.

"I'm fine, it's ok"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah he does this all the time" before Theo could say anything more I ran to class.

Time jump to Friday

3rd person POV

Theo walked down the hall on his way to class when he saw Liam pressed to the lockers. Days before Brett had pushed him against the lockers and walked away but now Brett was kissing him. Theo kept thinking about a few days earlier as Liam and Brett kept moving their faces back and forth continuing to make out. Theo stood there with anger in his eyes. He is the only one besides Liam that knows how horrible Brett treats him. At this point Theo thinks he is truly the only one. He sees how Brett hurts Liam and then uses him and Liam just takes it. All Theo wants to do is tell Liam to end it but he is afraid it will ruin their friendship and he can not risk that.

Theo hadn't noticed he had started growling at them, "Theo?"

"Yeah Liam?"

"Why were you growling?"

"Oh I don't know" and Theo ran off to class.

As he arrived to his class Theo kept thinking about it.

Why does Liam take it?

Why doesn't he just break up with Brett?

Why won't he be with me instead?

And just like that Theo realized why he was growling,

He was jealous.
