(Sorry it's a little long! I just like to ramble 😅)

Name: Alexander Parkins

Age: 12

Gender: male

Sexuality: unknown

Mental illness: c-PTSD, anxiety, and psychosis

Reason for being admitted: his wealthy yet still abusive parents put him in here for what seemed to be a terrible mental breakdown.

Looks: fluffy somewhat wavy black hair parted on the right side with bangs that kind of get into his face but he refuses to get a haircut. He has pale skin and blueish greenish eyes that are starting to get bags from lack of sleep due to flashbacks. There are stitched up cuts that run from the corners of his mouth down to near his ears. The scars are still healing so he isn't allowed to mess with them (no, he does *not* listen to that rule.). He has a lot of excess teeth because ✨hyperdontia✨

Prefered clothing: baggy sweaters with dark colors (like forest green or navy blue) commonly paired with black pants and black converse. At night he usually wears a baggy t-shirt and basketball shorts with some fuzzy socks (sometimes he wears fun socks with fun patterns like fruit. Usually the most colorful things he'll wear)

Personality: antisocial and timid to put it simply. He's very observant when someone talks to him and tends to overthink the smallest changes in tone, volume, and body language. He needs a lot of reassurance to feel safe, and will cling to whatever makes him feel safe. Tends to dissociate and act a lot younger than he is, but is far from stupid, so be gentle! (I probably forgot something)

Likes: fuzzy objects, miniature items, puzzles, fruit juices, common pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, any small domestic animal with fur really.), snails, frogs, bears, and moths.

Dislikes: doctors/nurses, the smell of alcohol/cigarettes, loud noises (screaming, metal/rock music, car alarms, etc.), and especially mentions of the dentist (including imagery).

Childhood/ source of trauma: oh boy! Where to start?! Once he turned three the pot really starts to boil. Constant arguing between his parents, his mother being a blackout drunk and his father working just to get out of the house, and neglecting their son. When he was seven his doctor s*xually abused him and manipulated him. His dentist made him feel unsafe and physically and emotionally abused him (usually by purposefully hurting him while doing dental work and degrading him). Yeah, his life was a mess, and that's just the foundation of his trauma 😰I just tortured the FUCK outta this poor boy!

Coping mechanisms: age regression and s/h (usually biting or scratching himself. Sometimes he messes with the cuts on his face to feel the sting)

Therapist type: anyone willing to put up with him

Anger issues?: quite the opposite!

Family/friends: Heather and Henry Parkins (mother and father). They don't visit even though Alex has visiting rights, and as long as they can pay to keep him there they're never coming back.

Roommates?: allowed

Restraints?: sometimes he has to wear a muzzle if he can't stop messing with his stitches or biting himself. (I know a muzzle probably wouldn't be used in an actual ward, but let me bend the rules a little!!/lh) He also has bandaids on his finger tips to keep him from scratching and trying to rip his nails off.

Food preference: mostly drinks fruit juices or smoothies/protein drinks. He does eat food sometimes, but I guess you could call him a vegan. He has no allergies though. For some reason, sweets and most solid foods intimidate him.

Doctors visits: he hates going to the doctors, so staff usually bring his medicine (mostly antipsychotics/ antidepressants) and if a doctor truly is needed he's sedated/drugged before taken in.

Surgery: do stitches count? Plus he's had a good amount of teeth removed.

Current injuries: his stitched up face and a couple s/h wounds still healing.
Items not allowed to own: scissors and anything glass. He covers up his mirrors by choice. He doesn't like to look at himself.

Triggers: surgical lights/white lights, doctors/dentist office, the smell of alcohol/cigarette smoke, being called "toothy", and being yelled at/degraded

Sensitive topics: family, r*pe, abuse, s/h, su*c*de, and surgery.

Tech privilege: yes, but he prefers not to go on the internet because he parents didn't want him to.

Pen/pencil privilege: yeah 👍

"Threat level": low (but sometimes he bites, lol)
