“Well, well, well. What do we have here?” Came a voice, looming out of the complete darkness. Emmy and Kim sprang up in surprise, totally taken aback by the sudden arrival of two tall men. One, with dirty blond hair and ravishing green eyes, the other, with a brunette head and charming hazel eyes. The voice, however, belonged to the other, green-eyed man. He wore a smirk as he considered the two women in front of him.

“Hello, beautiful. He continued to smirk as he advanced on Kim, who tried to move away, but he was too fast for her. Emmy made to run to her friend’s aid, but the hazel-eyed devil grabbed her arm and dragged her away from her helpless friend. He slung on strong arm around her waist and held her annoyingly close as he traced her left cheek-bone with one, single, dainty finger.

Trapped in his grip, even though she wanted to get away as much as the next person, she couldn’t help but admire his beautiful features. His perfect complexion, and the toned muscles. Great hair, as far as she could tell, and deep, dark hazel eyes that could hypnotize.

His fresh, cool, breath hit her face as his touch set her skin on fire.

There was a snap of a twig breaking into two and Emmy looked around. The man holding Kim, both of  his arms, were around Kim, holding her close to him as he continued to smirk that self-satisfied smirk and Kim tried to fight him off, but kept failing miserably. The smirk never leaving his sharp façade, he began to lean forwards, closer than he already was –

“Leave her alone!” Em shouted at him.  The man glared at his friend. As if the spoke a non-verbal language, the man dragged Emily further away from the scene. “Shh, darling.” He whispered, a soft smile etched on his lips as he began to lean towards her, and finally pressing his lips to Emily’s, instantly sending electrical bolts through her body, almost lifting her off her feet.

Before the feeling reached its extent, the man backed away, staring – wordlessly at her. All of a sudden., he let go off her. “Kendall!” He called in a warning voice.

The man, Kendall, as was his name, turned his attention to his accomplice. “What?” He asked, clearly annoyed by the interruption. A frightened look crossed the face of the man that held Emily formerly.

“James?” Kendall called. Without another word, James began to run. Kendall, looking confused, followed. As quick as lightning, both of them were only specs in the pool of moonlight, and with a rumble of thunder, they were gone.
