In the kitchen I stood leaning against the little island that we had as I faced damn who opposite of me. We waited for the kettle on the stove to start whistling indicating the water was boiling hot. It's nice that Damian and I have tea in common, unlike everyone in the tower who drinks coffee or soda, as their drink of choice. I look at Damian as he stare at the floor, or his feet, I don't know. He was in some jeans and a dark red hoodie, with some black skateboard shoes. I liked seeing Damian in regular clothes. It makes me think of us as normal teenagers, not that anything about us normal.

I had on black jeans and dark blue sweater, that hung off on of my shoulders. I also had on my black slip on skateboard shoes and a necklace with a read stone on it similar to how my uniform one my cloak looks. I guess you could say that's irony. I still look like I'm in my uniform even in normal clothes.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I was brought out of my thoughts when Dick was standing next to us.

"Just making some tea." Damian stated coldly like Dick should have known the obvious answer. Dick and Damian have been fighting lately so they are a little distant from each other. Well more like Damian has been distant, clearly Dick is trying to make amends, but Damian is hard headed we all know that. That's something he does not hide from everyone.

I gave him a look with wide eyes, basically telling him to make amends with him. He rolled his eyes.

"I- I am-," I stared at him not amused because was acting like a child. "I am sorry." He finally got out of his mouth.

"Don't worry about it." Dick said back grabbing a snack from his cupboard.

The kettle whistled and Damian looked relieved to turn around, so that he could get out of the kitchen faster. Damian pulled my mug I had this morning out of the cupboard. Strange I thought I left it in the training room, maybe he brought it up for me. He went into my cupboard and pulled out one of my herbal teas, picking a random one. Then into his cupboard to get his own herbal tea.

He hand me my cup then started to walk, I followed him assuming we were still hanging out. As we got towards our hallway he slowed down a little so that he was next to me. We stopped at his door, he opens it, but not before placing his hand in the small of my back to gesture me moving forward into the room. Titus barked causing us to turn around together in the doorway, he pranced up to the door and made his way into the room. I looked at Damian and he just rolled his eyes.

I walked over to the bed and sat down crossed legged. Titus knew he wasn't allowed on Damian's bed, Damian was very stern about him being better trained. In my room Titus could do whatever he wanted, except chew my stuff or use the bathroom in there. Damian joined me on the bed but sat with legs off the edge of the bed and feet on the floor.

His bed was made. His bland grey sheets and comforter, room was always neat nothing was ever out of place in here. The walls were a white color on the top half then this dark viridian green. The green suited him, is was about the same color of the mask he wears with his uniform.

I took a sip of my tea starring at the wall in front of me. Mmm Lavender, he knew what I was thinking. I smiled after pulling the mug down from my lips.
