Chapter 18

I was groggy. I was coming in and out of the serum Blackfire had given me. Lights flashed and I felt myself swaying, noise was coming from all around me. I felt my body fly through the air then I landed harshly on a surface, I think it was the ground. My back was hurting from the crash. I heard noises behind me like a shouting.

"Raven!" It was that voice that made me try opening my eyes. I was on my left side so I tried using my right arm to push me up. The goons left the chains on my wrists connected them together but with some space for me to move a little. I groaned trying to push myself up. My muscles were weak from the serum.

"Good morning my little performer." I heard Blackfire's voice from in front of me somewhere. I try so hard to focus my vision, until I can see her clear as day. "Shall we get started?" She asks. I turn around to see everyone chained up next to each other in a row. I watched as Blackfire walked towards them. "Each time you test me I will kill one of them. Oh, but who should I start with?" She taps her chin in thought. "I could start with my sister but her and and I have to chat before I kill her." I'm so angry I could take her out myself right now but I'm too weak. She looks down the line and stops on one person. She walked over to him grabbing his face, he tried to pull away, but she has that strength like Starfire. She gasped, "This handsome little bird should do." 

"Don't hurt him." I say swaying. I look into Damian's eyes and he looked angry, but I don't know if it was at me from bringing him into this or from Blackfire capturing the Titans.

"Well then just do as I say and be a good girl." She kicked Damian in the chest causing him to fall over. He got back up though as she was walking back towards me. "So baby doll what do you need to complete this?" She asked. 

"For you to remove the chains." I say weakly.

"Okay but if you try anything lover boy over there gets it." She said pointing to him. I nod my head.

"I need a spell book from Azarath." I said.

"No problem." She snapped a finger and one of her goons brought the exact book I needed. I took it, opening it to the page I knew. "There's going to be two parts to this spell okay?" I told her and she nodded. I don't think she knew anything about this spell book.

I read out the chant causing the gem to glow a bright read. I started screaming in pain from my head hurting. I fell to the ground clutching my head. I could hear every one of my friends panicked, most of all Damian. 

"Raven!" He shouted.

I could hear Blackfire laughing with an evil excitement. Once the glowing stopped I knew it was time. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" A large raven came out of me, it knocked Blackfire and her goons out. I use my magic to release the Titans from their chains. Starfire and Dick run to Blackfire to chain her up in one of her own chains being as they blocked any kind of powers someone may have possessed. Damian ran to me. 

I was still on the ground weak as ever. He fell to his knees and held me up before I could fall to the ground. I felt my body being picked up and carried.

"Damian, I''m sorry." I whispered.
