Two things were currently playing at your mind right now;

'Where in the name of the Walls did Moblit run off to?' was the first one -seeing as he had left extremely early for work- and the second was, 'Why do I have to wear such tight shoes for work at a bar?'

Don't get yourself wrong, you generally had no problem putting on whatever they wanted -they never suggest anything skimpy, to your utmost relief- but the shoes had been getting a small bit tighter recently; something you supposed could be related to bigger socks and the like.

Or it could be something else; one that you had a sneaking suspicion of for a little while now.

And that something else was exactly why you were leaving your day shift early to head home; the doctor was supposed to drop by your house today to make sure you were ok.

As you rounded another corner, your house came into view -still standing as you had left it before. All you had to do now was wait for the doctor to show up.

-

"Has anything else been happening, miss?" the woman asked, giving you a gentle smile as she awaited your response, "Um, I don't think so..." you trailed off, flipping through your memories to find anything incriminating but coming up empty-handed. Before you had told her all the symptoms of a potential illness, and it wasn't long after that that she had tested you for a few things; now she was asking you if you had anything else to supply her with.

"Anything like headaches, perhaps? Vomiting?"

'Headaches?' you couldn't help but think in a startle, quirking a brow, 'Now that I think about it, I had that nasty headache almost a week or so ago now, while at work. I thought it was a one-time thing so I didn't mention it, but maybe I should bring it up if it's related to the matter at hand.'

"Ah, well... Now that you mention it, yeah -I had a pretty bad headache a week ago. No vomiting though."

"Hmm, I see." she spoke, pausing for a moment and then opening her mouth again, "Well, congratulations miss."

"Congradula...?"

'Holy shit. I'm actually pregnant.' You had started to suspect things a week or so ago, although you hadn't been completely sure; but now that the doctor had confirmed it, your headache,

cravings for sweet food, and slightly tighter shoes made a lot of sense now.

"You mean I'm- I'm really...?"

Moblit had been pestering you about having a kid one day, and so you wanted her to be one hundred percent sure before you would have to break the news to him. Truth be told, you weren't completely against the idea of having a miniature mix of both you and your husband running around -to raise a kid with a man like him seemed as if it'd even be fun for the most part, if you overlooked all the stress that was sure to come with bringing a new person into the world.

Her grin went a bit softer as she nodded her head, "I'm positive, miss." she said before looking down at the clipboard she held in her one hand, "The results all indicate that you are, and your symptoms only lead me to further believe that this is the case."

You couldn't believe your ears, "How far along am I?"

"Somewhere between two to three months, miss. The baby bump should start to show in another month or two."

Boy did you have news to tell Moblit when he came home, 'I wonder what kind of names he's like? Hopefully, we'll be able to find a good name together...' With a kind curve lacing itself into your expression, you lightly hugged your arms to your stomach.

On Monday he had left you early, without a clue of the big news you were to provide him with when he came home.

Ahhhhh next chapter coming in like ten minutes because I already wrote it at school lmfao😭💀
