Chuck and his friends were defeated, but it wasn't time to celebrate, the people of Crosstruth gathered at Juan's funeral. He was remembered as a kind person, gentle with the kids of Beauty beach, a person who understood the struggles of the Crosstruth's folk. Even though most of his existence was torture, he never stopped hoping for a change, his death was a reminder of all the innocent people who died in the cartel wars, but also a reminder that things are starting to look better, everyone was there at the funeral, everyone except for Shaddai, he was nowhere to be found, he knew that if he was seen at the memorial people would ask him to use his singularity to laugh once again, but Shaddai knew that it wasn't time for parties and dances, sometimes it is time to sorrow, to cry and learn, he wasn't going to belittle the death of his friend, also, Shaddai was full of guilt in his heart.

Carlos, gave a speech, at the funeral, Hannah was with Moa and Omid comforting them, the people of Beauty beach couldn't stop wondering if they bring a curse upon everyone who stood for them, but at the same time, they were fighting to hold into hope, thanking the efforts of Shaddai, Carlos, and Hannah.

Meanwhile, in every other place of Moon's navel, chaos, big news all around the country, 2 state bosses and 7 regional chiefs from the cartel have been defeated, Chuck the drug lord from Tower city and responsible for the criminal activities in Snake Crawl was defeated by the same man who overthrew Marti in Crosstruth, Shaddai who was no longer an unidentified person, it was now public information that he was from Eagle nest and was working together with Hannah another singular from Eagle nest and Carlos a singular from Snake Crawl both of them responsible from the fall of a regional manager, Koko and Orange respectively. The other state boss and 4 of the regional chiefs were defeated by a group of civilians and singulars that formed a rebellion. On another note, more rumors of the 8 swords army were being spread.

Tisha and Phee were surprised to see Carlos on the news, grateful to see that he is doing alright but angry at Shaddai for involving Carlos in such dangerous matters.

The people of Moon's navel had mixed feelings about Shaddai, even though he was fighting the cartel, he was causing a lot of conflicts around the country or at least that's what the media said about him, the idea of him and Hannah being from Eagle nest started some conspiracy theories, people started to believe that the Eagle nest was causing the rebellion to provoke a civil war and take advantage of a weakened country, others thought that the Eagle nest was sincerely trying to help and because of that they sent Shaddai and Hannah, others believed that it was everything orchestrated by the 8 swords army, and the rest didn't have a clue, but everyone knew something for a fact, a giant storm of events was about to hit Moon's navel.

The 8 swords began to move according to their agenda, Henrick Pine executed a military order, the government of Eagle nest received the news and found out Hannah's and Shaddai's location, from the southern and northern borders, and even from the center of the country, the capital, the navel, the ones with power started to move.
