Daryl had left Beth and Anka alone. Beth was getting started on the fire, while Anka just sat there. When Anka abruptly stood to her feet, it caused Beth to flinch momentarily. She softened in her spot, as Anka stared back at her. She grabbed the empty water bottles, without saying a word and disappeared. Beth thought for a moment that maybe Anka would come to her senses. That she'd go back to normal and not to go through this traumatic stage, of where enormous amount of guilt was weighing her down.

Anka walked towards the lake she had seen before. The muddy ground that proved that there was water around. Anka crawled down the small trail, watching the water flow slightly. Anka glanced around, nothing around but trees and bugs. Anka knees betrayed her as she fell to the mud, letting it splatter all over her. Tears escaping her eyes, so much so that it could amount to the water in the lake.

This was the exact reason she liked being alone. She would avoid feeling guilty for people's deaths. If they died, it was because of them, not her. She wondered if she managed to save those people, would Hershel still be alive? She couldn't even save her damn eagle Niol, she didn't know if Vella was alive. Maybe the hallucination of the governor was right. "Of course I'm right."

He called out from beside her. When Anka turned her head this time. He didn't look the same. He was dirty with blood. His fingers and knuckles hiding blood in his skin. Blood running from his face and lastly the arrow in his side, coming through one end and out the other one. Anka didn't respond like she usually would. She stared off it to the lake. The waters hitting against the rocks in the large body of water. She ignored the constant chatter from beside her. "I said it before. Even if they are alive, they'd all soon die because of you anyways. So fill up these water bottles and walk head first into the water. Save everyone from you."

Anka put the water by water bottle in the water, filling it. The murky brown water that sat in the green bottle was placed to the side of the water bed. Anka stood to her feet, looking at the governor who sat on the wood stump behind her. To think she was actually considering his words was beyond her, but she lost her sanity. Her thoughts went to her thoughts of Beth and Maggie. Maggie was dead, she was trying to keep a promise to a dead girl. As for Beth, she'd be safe with Daryl. Anka pulled her shoes off, the cold mud sticking to her feet and in between her toes. Anka took a heavy step towards the water, her foot coming in contact with the freezing temperatures of the brown lake. She was numb to the feeling as she pushed herself further into the water until she was soon waist deep.

Before the water could take her over, a strong pull around her waist pulled her back towards the land. He threw her onto the bed of mud. She still had no reaction. Daryl was angry, bitter, irritated and even more gloom then before. Anka now showed signs of considering suicide, she had lost her footing in this world. She was ready to give up. "What the hell is wrong with ye! Get yer ass up!"
