WWII Activities

Troubled by the poverty she saw in Paris during the Great Depression, Lucie became an enthusiastic member of the French Communist Party.

French history teacher and member of the French Resistance during World War II.

Outwitted the Gestapo and rescued her husband (more than once) from captivity.

She had a fake wedding and after killed 7 nazis and rescuing 16 people including her husband.

Served as the inspiration for several films
