After y/n had stretching for the match she got in the mind set to block, everyone that was on court could feel the change in y/n and if they didn't now they would later.
Y/n pov
I had to go serious for this match it would determine if I was on the team or not.
Everyone on court standing in their positions waiting for coach to blow the whistle.
Once it had kageyama tossed up the ball, ran and slammed it down onto the next court.
Nishinoya received the ball towards sugawara who than set it to tanaka which bounced onto the floor.
"Nice one." I pat tanaka on the back.
"Thanks y/n." He responded.
As we continued it was always tied considering hinata and kageyama had done their quick attack and tsukishima's blocks would always rival tanaka's spikes and my blocks.
Only one more point and we win, after watching hinata and kageyama's quick attack for a while I started to catch up to them to block them.
This time hinata had hit it so it would hit the back left corner so running to catch it I stuck my food out and passed it to nishinoya who set it from the back line.
Tanaka went for a hard spike that brushed tsukishima's hands onto the court just as yamaguchi had dived for it.
The sound of a buzzer went.
We had won, finally.
"Good game." We all shouted minus tsukishima after we had lined up.
"Sorry you didn't see any of my spikes today maybe next time." I said to coach and takeda after I got off court.
"No problem kid at least got to see you block and might I say you were pretty good." Ukai responded.
"Does that mean I'm on the team." I suggested rocking back and forward on my feet.
"Give us a couple days to put everything together for you but seems like it, will let you know when." Takeda piped in.
"Thank you so much!"
After I had said that I walked off towards my house getting ready to tell my parents.
"My wonderful papa T and my beautiful papa H I'm home." I sung out dramatically once I unlocked the front door.
"Were in here honey." Papa T sang back.
As I walked into the kitchen I was met with and amazing site of my dad's icing cakes with flour all over the place and icing spread on their noses and cheeks.
"You guys look like you've had a great time while I was away." I struggled because I was laughing.
"We certainly did, now what did you want to tell us." Papa H asked.
"So I got into the volleyball club and I just wanted to share." I responded.
"Oh congratulations honey we are very proud of you." Papa T said coming in for a hug with papa H.
My eyes widened when I saw their intentions but it was too late, I got smothered with icing and flour.
"Ack guys." I wined "you got me all dirty, your lucky I already had to shower."
They started laughing then so did I after hugging and eating cakes, I went for a shower.
Once I finished I had dinner and took a snack up staid as I said my goodnights to my parents.
After finishing a few episodes (favourite anime) I got tired so I went onto my phone to see if there was anything good on there and since there wasn't I just went to bed and slept.
A/n = I hope this was a good chapter idk I kind of forgot about this book considering I have the memory of a sieve :p
