chapter 8 ~

Y/n's pov

I woke up as normal, at 5:30 in the morning my alarm went off and I sat up tapping my face slightly to get myself to wake up.
Swinging my legs over the edge of my bed i slipped out of my bed and down the stairs at a sluggish pace.

Sliding on some shoes I went for my run as I was in joggers and a tank top, it was cold but refreshing, I circled the house as I have now got used to the routine of doing so I was a bit faster so to waste the left over time I ran another lap.

Panting I jogged to the door and opened it, closing it as quietly as possible to not wake up my parents yet.

Making three bentos for each of us for lunch I started on breakfast, I made a fruit salad to be a bit more healthy.

As I finished my Papa T came in and look his bowl and bento with his travel mug of coffee before kissing he top of my head and saying a goodbye before leaving early for work as he needs to be in earlier to be able to go home earlier.

It was now 7 o'clock and Papa H had now arrived downstairs rubbing his eyes with a lazy smile after seeing that I prepared his breakfast as well.

"Hello beautiful, how are you today?" Papa H asked softly.

"I'm feeling better, thank you, how are you Papa?" I questioned back.

"Amazing now you're here."

Silence filled the room until we both bursted out laughing at how cheesy the line was.

After talking for a bit I went upstairs to take a quick shower and get dressed in my uniform, brush my teeth and fluff my hair.

Skipping down the stairs I said my goodbyes to my Papa's and left, I was a bit late but if I hurry I can get there on time.

I walked alone today but it was nice and peaceful plus the scenery was amazing, as I got closer to the school there was about 5 minutes to spare before I had to be in class.

Getting my indoors shoes on I walked silently to my class.
I sat down next to Yachi and watched as she was muttering about something I couldn't understand with how quiet and fast she was talking.

Class had started but I couldn't wait for it to end, practice was on today and we were going to go for a run.

The day dragged on and I hated it but before I knew it it was the end of class.

Rushing out of the classroom with a quick goodbye to Yachi I strode towards the changing rooms to get ready.
Routing through my bag I realised I had forgotten my t-shirt, stepping outside with only my shorts, sports bra and long sleeved gloves on I traveled to the boys changing rooms to see if the guys had a shirt I could borrow.

"Guys do any of you have a shirt I can borrow I kinda forgot." I spoke entering the door.

The guys froze for some reason and no one answered me, I was completely and utterly confused as to why.

3rd pov

The boys in the changing room has stopped to stare at Y/N, their cheeks flush red as they now try to look anywhere but at her.

"Y/N I have one here." Sugawara said handing his t-shirt to Y/N.
"Thanks Suga."

As soon as she left the rest of the boys let out a breath and went on with getting changed.

Y/N pov

After getting changed into Suga's t-shirt I realised it was a bit too short but as long as I didn't raise my arms then I won't be too exposed.

We were outside a hill that we had to run up going in twos or in my case with Hinata and Kageyama.

When the whistle blew we were off like speed racers to see who would come first, I stopped when I saw the others but Hinata and Kageyama didn't so I told the others I would catch up with them and bring them back.

I saw them up ahead arguing, "guys do you know where we are?" I questioned in a serious manner as I didn't know what way to get back to Karusuno.

Looking around Kageyama suddenly said "isn't Wakano near Shiritorizawa"

"Shiritorizawa? You mean Ushiwaka's school” Hinata commented.

Coincidentally Ushijima ran past us at the exact time Hinata said the statement.

"Did you need something from me?" Ushijima asked causing the three of us to turn to face him.
"If you don't need anything, I'll be leaving."

"We came from karasuno!" Kageyama exclaimed, "would you mind if we did some recon at Shiritorizawa?"

"Karasuno.... The team that uses that weird quick attack?" Ushijima mentioned to the three players.

That's when Ushijima announced he was heading back to school and that they can follow if they wanted.
The volleyball players ran behind Ushijima until they got to the school.

"It's so big!" Hinata said excitedly looking around the school.

To be quite honest I had spaced out to look at the school not realising what went on until they pulled me way from the school after bowing to Ushijima for giving us a show of the school.

We found our way back to our own school and gathered around coach Ukai and takeda For a team meeting.

"As you all know.... You have final exams starting next month." Takeda acknowledged. "Right?"

The lecture went on to basically say not to fail or you cannot complete in any matches.
They had let everyone go to get changed, so they could go home.

Getting changed I walked out of the changing rooms fast as i knew it was already late and couldn't waste any more time than I already had.
Running my way home in a fast sprint I made it home in 10 minutes max.

Opening the door I saw both of my Papa's sat on the sofa cuddling while watching the TV.

"Hiya honey, how was school? Did you have fun?" Papa T questioned the moment he saw me.
"It was good, and the only fun thing about school is volleyball" I replied.
"That's nice sweetheart" Papa H responded.

"I'll eat then I'm going to bed, I'm super tired from today plus I need the extra sleep to be able to study for my exams that are coming up soon." I explained the the living couple on the sofa.

"Okay baby, don't stress yourself out to much, you're already doing a lot in school." Papa T scolded.

"Will do!"

We'll see you in the morning then sweetheart." Papa H suggested, getting up from his space on the sofa with his husband as they've seen their baby is home safe and out of trouble.

"Night love you papa H, papa T." I said giving each a kiss on the side of the cheek to each parent.

A 'love you too' was sounded by each parent as they made their way up the stairs and into their room, allowing for Y/N to eat her dinner and also go to bed.
