Story and nap time

Btw, I changed Dream's description slightly in the last chapter. Nothing much, but now you decide if he's barefoot.

Dream left his mask resting off to the side of his head as he walked to his blobs that were waiting for him. "Let's rest for today, I want to know what everyone has been up to while I was gone! Besides, I'm sure you all want to hear my stories of the world beyond the forest..." As he said this, many of the blobs showed visible excitement, although a few in particular were more excited than the others.

Guard and Nicky seemed the most excited, although for slightly different reasons. Guard eventually snapped out of it and tried to get everyone in order, telling everyone to finish what they were doing and to meet up in Dream's room. Nicky closed their book and rushed towards the house, most likely to get a blank book to write down Dream's stories. Assess did the same as Guard, although not as pushy. Assess mostly just stayed back and payed attention to who was leaving to go do work and who stayed, noting who needed to do what. Herb smiled at everyone's excitement, but didn't stay long as they quickly flew to the farm to finish their farm work for the day. Red and Note nodded to eachother, before quickly rushing to their shack. Dream could faintly hear sounds coming from its direction. Brew nodded, before rushing towards the house with all their ingredients in their non-existent hands. Smithy followed behind, although at a slower pace. Both were most likely putting up their work for the day, they had to make sure everything was spotless and crystal clear clean, otherwise they might have trouble with their equipment, (and something might make Brew's potions fall, which was never a good thing.) Dr. A flew towards the house as well, not racing though. They most likely were heading to the medical area to clean everything up and to make sure nothing had gone missing. Venny, Pea, Sprinter and Bloom stayed with Dream, not needing to go anywhere. Pea and Bloom layed side-by-side on Dream's head. Venny and Sprinter raced around Dream as he started to walk to his room. Assess and Guard floated behind Dream as well as he entered his room. Dream sat on his bed, getting comfortable before the Blobs present settled themselves in, except Assess and Guard of course. Guard flew around the room, unable to contain his excitement as Dream was a great storyteller. Assess just floated near the door, waiting for everyone to join them. Nicky was the first to come, they were holding three books and settled themselves further away from Dream on the bed, setting the books next to them. Eventually Smithy came back, practically dragging Brew, who was meeping at them that they had a new thing to try out, and that they hadn't check this one thing, and Brew just kept rambling on and on. (Brew can be a bit of a pain sometimes when it comes to their workplace.) Smithy just sat(?) down, right next to a pouting Brew. Next to come was, surprisingly, Herb. They explained he was already almost done for the day when Dream came, and just went back to double check he didn't have anything left to do. Dr. A was the next to join, not long after Herb. They sat as they waited for Red and Note, both taking longer then normal, until they both rushed into the room. Note exclaiming in tired meeps, "We're here!" They stopped and looked around. "We're we the last ones here?" Red asks, before Red realized that Assess wasn't there. "Hah! Assess isn't here yet! Wooooo!" Red said, doing a victory meep, before Assess cleared their throat, standing(?) right behind Red. Red meeped in surprise, before angrily yelling at Asses for sneaking up on them. "I was here the entire time Red." Assess meeped simply, hiding their smirk at being able to scare Red. "You did that on purpose!" Red said, while Assess pretended to not know what they meant. Assess loved to pick on the last person to come to any meeting, it taught the person to be more efficient. At least, that's what they told Dream, although he knew it was also because Assess had fun picking on the other blobs, their hidden smirk was proof enough. (Yes, Dream knew they all technically had a permanent smile, but their eyes still showed a lot of emotion, as well as their meeps, and their smiles did move slightly. The smile turns smaller when they are sad, and it seems strained when they are incredibly stressed or angry. Dream has had centuries to watch over his blobs, so he understands them).

Dream smiled, he placed his mask on his bedside table before looking over his blobs that sat on and before him. Most were on his legs, and if they weren't, the were at least cuddled up to him. Especially Bloom and Pea as I'm sure you can guess, as they were still on his head, laying in his soft hair. They weren't asleep, wanting to also hear Dream's stories before going to bed, but they were incredibly comfy. Dream sighed in content. His smile widened as he knew where to start off, before opening his mouth to tell his blobs an incredible story about everything he has done over the years. He sugar-coated a few bits, and slightly changed the names of the people he talked about, but kept the descriptions of the people he talked about the same.

He got through many stories, before he realized the time, and knew his blobs were all getting tired. He grabbed Nicky's books and put them next to his mask, before he grabbed the two on his head, the touch of his hand stirred them, but he was able to pick them up with his two new appendages, they were cradled in the fabric, as Dream slipped into a laying down position on his bed, he already had his legs under the blanket, he just needed to moved all the way. Guard, who was still awake, helped Dream slightly. When Dream was done, he layed down completely, and put up his hood, placing Bloom and Pea inbetween the top of his head and his hood. The tendrils then layed themselves out on the bed, as Guard snuggled inbetween the crook of his shoulders, and neck. Dream smiled as he thought of how great his life was now that he was here with his blobs. He thought about his blobs as he closed his eyes and fell asleep...

If a book is discontinued I'd put it in the title and/or book description. Idk if any of you thought it was, but it had been awhile since I had past updated it until a little while ago.
