"OUT OF THE WAY!" Megumi yelled at the cursed spirit running towards their direction. They were already at the fourth floor, but far from where they anticipated Sasaki and Iguchi were. They already encountered an absurd amount of curses when they were climbing up the stairs.

Mika breathed in, chest rising up and down as she stood next to Megumi. "Damn, the object already attracted this much curse?" A tattoo on her wrist glowed and manifested into a knife.

Megumi placed his hands on top of each other and formed it to make it look like a dog in the shadow.

"Demon dogs," he summoned.

Two dogs in the shade of white and black jumped out of his shadow and landed beside them. The white one with red eyes howled while the black with dark eyes stood in front of Mika.

"You can eat it." Megumi commanded as curses charged towards them.

The Sorcerers continued to run to the deeper part of the school as the demon dogs attacked and ate the cursed spirits that came their way. Mika was occasionally throwing knives at the cursed spirits that the dogs missed to bite.

"The curses are growing in number. They're close."

They turned left and saw a gigantic blue-colored curse holding on Yuji's friends. Half of Iguchi's body was already inside the cursed spirit. As for Sasaki, she was unconscious with the curse wrapped around her body, swallowing her alive.

"Damn it!" Megumi cursed loudly, now panicking. "Is it trying to swallow her along with the cursed object?! I'm not gonna make it!"

'Shit, my lungs are burning.' Mika hurried to write on her notebook, eyes alternating between the curse and her notebook illuminated by a small amount of moonlight coming from the window.

They were both panicking. The mission they were given took an unexpected turn. They were tasked with retrieving a special-grade cursed object, not fighting almost a hundred of cursed spirits in a single night.

Megumi and Mika were Jujutsu Sorcerers, their job was to expect the unexpected. But seeing their position right now, it was beyond anything they ever expected. It made them feel weak. Was this really how they were raised? To panic in a time like this? Didn't Satoru told them over and over again that they needed to be calm in every situation?

More curses appeared behind them, they were surrounded.

Mika moved closer to the window and wrote 'bow' on her notebook. At the same time, in the split second between panic and fear, the glass window was shattered as Itadori Yuji forced his way in.

"Tsk, shitty technique." Mika raised the weapon that appeared on her hand. She pulled the string towards her face using two fingers and twisted her body in order to swiftly turn around and face the low leveled curses. She pointed the bow on their direction, arrows appeared everytime she realeased the string and it flew towards the curses who exploded upon contact.

A breeze created from the mild explosion made her hair sway. "Itadori?!" A frown appeared on her face when she saw the pink-haired boy.

"Itadori!" Megumi was in disbelief as he stared at him.

Yuji sucked in a deep breath as he pulled his arm back for momentum. The moment he exhaled through his nostrils, his knuckles clashed with the slimy and soft exterior of the cursed spirit. There was no cursed energy involve, only brute force, yet the curse ended up not being able to move for a while. He took it as his chance and swiftly took his two friends from its grasp, jumping off and landing on the ground.
