Sukuna's Vessel
four - sometimes, I"What's the situation?" The two dark-haired teenagers looked back upon hearing a familiar voice. Standing behind them was white-haired man with a lanky figure. He was holding on a paper bag as he waved at them.
"Gojo-sensei?!" Megumi was shocked to see their teacher. "Why are you here?"
"Hey, I wasn't planning on coming, but man, you're roughed up." Satoru looked at him up and down, examining his injuries. "I should show the second-years. Face this way!" he took his phone out and started taking pictures of the teenage boy, then he turned it to Mika, who looked at him with half-lidded eyes. She looked like she was about to pass out.
The girl raised her hand and winced before greeting him. "Yo."
"They're going to kill me." Satoru immediately panicked, putting his phone back in his pocket and walked towards the girl to support her.
"To answer your question, Megs," he looked at the boy. "The higher-ups wouldn't shut up with a special-grade cursed object gone missing. So I stopped by while doing some sightseeing. Did you find it?"
"Um . . . sorry, but I ate it." Yuji told him while pointing at himself.
"For real?" Satoru handed Mika to Megumi.
"For real," replied the teenagers.
Satoru walked closer to Yuji and leaned forward, observing him closely. "Damn, it really did combine with you. That's hilarious," he leaned back, feeling rather excited. "Anything off with your body?"
"Nothing," replied Yuji.
"Can you swap out with Sukuna?"
"Sukuna?"
"The curse you ate."
"Oh. Yeah, I think I can do that."
"Then give us ten seconds." Satoru started stretching. "Once ten seconds are up, come back to us."
"But . . ."
"Don't worry, I'm the strongest." Satoru told him, and threw the paper bag to the dark-haired sorcerers. "Megumi, Mika, hold on to this."
"What is this?" asked Megumi as he caught it.
"I smell something sweet." Mika sat up and took the paper bag.
"Kikufuku from Kikusuian. It's Sendai's specialty, and it's super good. I recommend the zunda and cream flavor."
'This guy actually went and bought souvenirs when people were out here dying!' Megumi looked at the paper bag, then at the excited Mika with sparkling eyes. 'And why are you excited? We almost died!'
"It's not a souvenir," reasoned Satoru as if he read Megumi's mind. "I'm going to eat it on the bullet train home."
In the middle of their conversation, Sukuna had swapped out and charged towards their direction, aiming for Satoru.
"Behind you!" yelled Megumi.
"Kikufuku's not like other souvenirs . . ." Sukuna crashed towards them and when the dust cleared, Mika sat face to face with Sukuna, who had Satoru sitting on his back. She almost choked on her Kikufuku.
