you walked under the gentle rays of the morning sun, on the way to school with hu tao and ganyu. it was currently monday, and a lot of students were also on the way to school.
"(y/n), are you okay now? you're doing fine with your edgy boyfriend?" hu tao suddenly brought up, making ganyu snicker.
"edgy..." ganyu muttered in between her chuckles.
"mhm! i'm okay now, and we're on good terms."
"ah, that's nice! if he ever hurts you again, tell me and i'll bring him to the after life! you didn't want us to interfere last time,"
hu tao looked at you and ganyu with a cheerful grin. ganyu looked at her with a concerning look, her hands clutching the strap of her bag anxiously.
"don't pull any funny stuff with them, hu tao. besides, i'm really happy for you, (y/n). you really cheered up after making new friends this year."
you gave her a smile, patting her shoulder.
"ooh, look who's waiting." hu tao suddenly skipped off to the gate of the school approaching someone.
"boo!" she jumped on xiao's back, leaning her weight towards him. they both almost toppled over.
"..." xiao let out a sigh. he's been waiting for you by the gate of the school, so you could both go to class together. he didn't want to deal with hu tao at such time.
