chapter twenty.

"are you going to ask him out or what?" clay, george, and nick were all walking into the highschool. "just give me some time, okay?" honestly at this point nick was fed up with their shit. they wouldn't stop bothering him about it ever since the night he told them. "don't be a pussy dude. you weren't scared when you asked anne!" clay nudged his shoulder as they walked, "that was in sixth grade! plus she was a girl." george chuckled from his response. god, he really has no idea what he's doing. "if he does say yes though, can it be like a double date thing? i can't do it by myself dude."

clay mumbled a small "pussy" which was only audible for george to hear. the only caused them to burst out in laughter. "guys please. i don't ask you for much." but neither of them could respond to nicks question. they were both out of breath. the brit caught his breath first for his response "okay ask him today, and arrange it for saturday." nick nodded in agreement as they all split up to go to their separate classes.

nicks pov:

class flew by quicker then nick expected it to. and by the time he knew it, the time struck 10:45 which was always a passing period for the school ahead of time nick asked karl to meet him in one certain hallway, where he knew nobody would go. the raven sped down the halls hoping to get there first, and by his surprise he was. "okay just over what you've been practicing." he whispered to himself, "don't fuck this up nick, this is your only chance."

and there he was, karl was making his way towards nick with a slight smile on his face, "hey!" karl stood right in front of nick, "hi! sorry this is a weird meetup." karl just smiled, "it's fine don't worry about it. so what's up?" nick took a deep breath. here we go. "i was wondering if you and me- us! wanted to go on like a hangout- date! a date! with um george and clay. if you don't want to go that's fi-" karl cut clay of, "so a double date?" nick then retrieves a bouquet of tulips from his backpack, protected with some plastic, "yeah! oh! these are for you, i didn't know your favorites but i thought these suited you." karl accepted them, blushing slightly, "i would love to go with you."

a sigh of relief left nick, "okay! um perfect! i will text you everything. and um, see you at lunch?" karl nodded putting the flowers in his backpack. "see you at lunch." but before karl left he pecked nick on the cheek. and immediate the ravens face went completely red. karl chuckled and walked off. what both of them didn't know was that that both had a smile implanted on their face.

georges pov:

it was already lunch and george was immediately met with karl running up to him. "george! you knew that nick was going to ask me all along?!" the brunette chuckled, "i did. and when i tell you how hard it was to not say nothing." karl directed george to the usual lunch table. "hey alex!" george and karl were met with nick, clay, and alex all talking. "hello."

they all talked about the date, and future plans they all would make and exchanging phone numbers. this was the moment they all officially became freinds. "dude, make a groupchat itll be so much easier." clay suggested. "ill make it." alex volunteered and added everyone.

feral boys

'clay' was added 12:13
'george' was added 12:13
'karl' was added 12:14
'nick' was added 12:14

"feral boys?" nick asked, "i don't know it was the first thing i could think of." but karl quickly added, "no! i like it. we're the feral boys."
