It's been months and Chloe has been accelerating at everything, from hand to hand combat to flying and learning how to control her wings. Chloe and nick got really close, nick joined in on training choosing a crossbow as his weapon. Nick also broke it off with Ashley which she wasn't too happy about. Ashley figured it had something to do with Chloe, seeing as the day of the fire he would risk his own life just to save hers.
Android 342: "excellent work your majesty, you'll be ready in no time" he said excited
Chloe: "thanks droid"! She replied just as excited.
Android 342: " and master nick your skills are improving, we'll make a great soldier out of you yet". He added
Nick: "thanks droid". He said laughing.
Nick and Chloe changed back into their normal clothes and started to make their way out the cave.
Nick: " hey Chloe, so there's this carnival, tonight, um I was wondering if you wanted to go with me, ya know just us". He said nervously
Chloe has gained a lot of confidence since she found out about herself months ago.
Chloe: " are you asking me on a date Nicky"? She asked kind of teasing him.
Nick: "uh well, it doesn't have to be a date, it can be just two best friends hanging out". He said rubbing the back of his head laughing nervously
Chloe smiled, thinking he was very cute when he was nervous.
Chloe: "I'd love to go with you nick". She said then kissed his check "tonight at 8, I'll meet you there". She said then her wings appeared and she flew off.
Nick stood there touching his cheek smiling up as Chloe flew off. He then closed the cave wall touching a peace of rock on the floor next to the cave. Chloe and nick had created another way to get in and out of the cave. They had built a hand scanner and cloaked it using the technology from droid to make it look like a rock. So now the cave can open for nick too. Chloe flew into her window everyone was already at the carnival so no one noticed a teenage girl flying through her window. When she landing in her room her wings disappeared. Chloe got ready putting on a light purple dress on with a dark purple little hoodie on top. She wore her hair down and put a purple ribbon on top of her head. She had her dragon necklace on. She also put on her black and purple boots. Later on Chloe met nick at the carnival. Nick was wearing a black leather jacket with a black and white shirt underneath with black pants. He wore his black and white Nike's.
Chloe: "hey stranger". She said as she walked up to nick
Nick: "hey". He said smiling happy to see his friend then gave her a hug
Chloe smiled hugging him back
Chloe: " so ready to lose in these games". She said mocking him
Nick: "yeah sure as if" he said smirking.
They went off playing games, Chloe would win some, and nick would win some. They went to the ring toss and nick won Chloe a big dragon stuffed animal. Chloe and nick looked at each other laughing as the guy handed them the stuffed dragon then they sat down and ordered some food.
Chloe: "I'll be back, I have to use the bathroom" she said handing her stuffed dragon to nick so he can hold.
Chloe walked to a building where the bathrooms were and walked in looking in the mirror smiling at herself. Just then Ashley and her friends walked in.
Ashley: well, well, ladies look who it is, the loser and freak of the school". She said and laughed the girls following her laughter like puppies.
