The next day, I was determined to know more about them. Those guys... I have a feeling we're going to become inseparable.

Riiigghhttt! Inseparable, Ruby you just met them!... I scold myself.

We woke up in the morning, tired. The boys chit chatted a bit, but I wasn't in the mood for talking because I knew they would bombard me with questions before I could even have the chance to ask them something myself.

After breakfast of some jelly material which tasted a mixture of pulverized bacon and eggs, Brian cut the silence invading the room: " Okay so if we are going to plan an escape, we should definitely stop eating that food."

"Why? " Joss asked mockingly. "Is it poisonous?"

"Not funny Joss! This is serious. Notice those small sparkling particles inside the jello." Billy pointed out. "I am a hundred percent sure that these are trackers for us to swallow, and if we try to escape, they can still track us down."

"Trackers in our belly! That sounds disgusting!" That was Leo.

I know nothing about these guys. I just needed to know something about them at least why they're here. I hesitated at first but I had to ask.

"Uhm, I just wanted to ask why are you here? I mean how did you end up here? You don't live with these creatures, right?"

They all laughed at first but no one really volunteered to answer my question.

"Why doesn't Romeo tell you "why we're here". I guess it was his idea to come here in the first place." Leo bursted out.

Then, they all seemed to agree with Leo since they all turned to face Adams and stared at him until he started speaking:

"I did not oblige you to come. I mean Leo; we were great friends and everything and you were so into escaping your town and all of its problems. We decided to head off duo, but then Brains appeared, and he insisted that he was an expert in technology stuff and we were not and that he would really help us and that his dream was always to explore the world... We agreed to take him with us." He paused for several minutes, then continued. " There was this girl. I always had a crush on her. We used to hang out together. She came weekly to visit her grandma, but after some time her father discovered that his daughter is seeing a poor son of farmer. She was rich, and I was considered a plebeian. When her father discovered that she was seeing me, he was very furious. He came to my house and banned me to see her and threatened to hurt my family if I did, so I couldn't take the risk although I missed her so badly. Ever since, she never came to the town and I never had the chance to say goodbye...

After 2 months and 13 days, I was informed that she ran away. I don't know why, but roomers say she was looking for something or someone in the overworld.

I thought it was my only chance to gain her back into my life. I admit, I loved her. I was ready to do anything to see her... again."

"What was her name?" I managed to say.

"Rosa...Rosabella"

"What apout me? You totally forgot me!! Am I so unimportant to you? Or is this Rosapella everything you think about?" Joss squealed feeling annoyed.

"I guess" Adams replied.

And we all laughed.

"Okay, if I'm so meaningless to you, then let me tell Roupy the less romantic version of our adventure."

Here we go again with the Roupy. Just call me anything but that! Is my name that hard to pronounce?

"I am a poor poy. An orphan, never had a chance to meet my parents. I was raised in an orphanage and at age 7, they kicked me out as a punishment for my laziness and irresponsipility and said that I had to live on my own or else I would die of hunger, thirst, cold etc... Where did I live? I spent my days in the exit gateway puilding where people use portals to travel from a place to another in our world. There was only one portal which leads to the outer world. The portal that only psychos would enter. What did I do there? you ask. I pegged people for food and drinks, and those who felt pity for me gave me some food and water from their leftovers or extras. Others who were fed up from my persistence and annoyance gave me what I pleaded for to get rid of me. As they say, the squeaky wheel always gets the grease. This is how I lived my friend, but as I grew older, people ignored me, and the cute 7 year old peggar no longer existed. So, when I saw this punch of psychos wanting to enter the outer world portal, I decided to join them!" He concluded.

"You want to know what happened next?" Leonardo suggested.

I nodded in response.

"The portal led us here, in this creepy world with creepier creatures. Billy's gps was useless. As soon as those monsters saw our different physical appearance, they captured us and threw us in their jail. They claim we are foreigners and for them foreigners mean harm, and they don't deserve to live under "their" sunlight.

I swear, this is bullsh*t!"

He screamed his last sentence punching the only rainbow poster in the room. He looked at me.

"What about you Ruby, how did you get here?"

Whaatt!! I don't know! Oh my god! Will they even believe my story? Should I lie because they would never believe me. What should I tell them? Oh god they're staring. What should I do?
