"Wake up! Wake up!" I jump out of bed startled when I find all 4 boys surrounding me. Its not the only strange thing. They all look... different. Their faces are pale and gloomy.

Joss, the hyperactive boy with the facetious remarks and humorous personality, looks weak and depressed!

Brian, the brain of the group, always hungry to know more and share his ideas out loud even though no one is listening or interested now looks dumb and lost and looks as if someone slapped him in the face knocking his glasses askew!

Adam, the daydreamer, his head always in the clouds seems more down to earth and kind of facing reality today. He has no expression on his face, though. He's not sad and not happy. He looks shocked, disappointed maybe. It's really hard to know.

And Leo, the bossy, oldest guy in the group, always unpredictable and irascible, very defensive and by my experience is a person who directly jumps to conclusions without really analyzing the situation. He's flirty sometimes, but I can't really tell since I'm the only girl here. At the moment he's staring at the floor about to cry?!

There is something happening here and I'm going to find out what it is! I can't resist staring at those cheerless faces anymore!

"How long have I been sleeping? And what happened to you guys?" I ask in a very concerned tone.

"You've slept long enough to..."

"To what?!" I insist because whatever this news is it's definitely bad.

"They-y-y a-r-r-r-e-e g-o-i-i-n-n-g to..." and Joss bursts into tears muffling all the words that follow with his loud sobs.

"They are WHAT?!" I am starting to get impatient with this. Joss was the only one to make us cry of laughter, but to see him cry like that is unbelievable.

"They're going to execute us." Adam finally spills the beans.

"WHATTT??!!!!" I don't know what is it with me and those 'whats' but "Look if this is a prank or something please stop it because it's driving me up the wall!"

"Does it look like we're joking to you?" There goes Leo. It seems he's back to normal Leo, though I still prefer the Leo that was here a few seconds ago. "Oh, of course, little princess here takes everything as a joke when it's not! Look at us we're as good as dead", again with this phrase," Oh nooo, but she's of royal blood and she has everything she wants and life is a piece of cake. Well, go live your life and leave us in peace you useless..."

My face flushes with rage! And I cut him off before he has time to finish his sentence: "How can you say that!!" And with all my force, I crash my fist into his jaw. I was about to punch him again when Brian and Joss steadied my hands behind my back and pushed me as far from Leo as possible where Adams is doing his best to calm him down.

But I'm still not satisfied he has no right to insult me!

"Are you even hearing what you're saying, Leo?" I say angrily. "Is this what you really think of me? A useless... pampered, little princess, really?" I feel tears forming in my eyes, and I let them fall. I don't care anymore! "Let me please rephrase that last sentence of yours: go live your life? From where did that come from? I think Adam was pretty clear when he said that they are going to execute US!"

"No, he..." Brian interrupts me and tries to say something but I don't stop talking. He'll have his turn later. I'm still not done with Leo.

"Leave us in peace? I didn't know I was such an unbearable person!  I appreciate your honesty and forthrightness and if you can't wait to get rid of me, I'm already gone."

That too was not a joke. When I said I was going, I meant it.

Immediately, I turn around and switch the lights off. I rush to the iron gate of the cell. The spaces between the bars are wide enough for me to pass through them. It seems that everyone here is big enough not to fit in anything as wide as this. I knew I was capable of escaping this room whenever I wanted, but I didn't want to leave the boys. Now, there is no feeling of regret what so ever. Instead I feel relieved. Head first, I then slide my other body parts through the cold, metal bars and manage to get out safely. The boys haven't still located the power switch, and I hope they won't. I am finally out, my inner voice celebrates inside of my head. I feel my heart leaping out of my chest. I am FREE... temporarily. So, without looking backwards, I take off full blast moving from one hallway to another, ignoring everything around me. I don't see, I don't talk, I just run.

I close my eyes and take deep breaths. I keep running. I don't have a destination, but at least I have an aim : to get out of this place and ASAP!

Nothing can stop me now. Though I could almost say I was unstoppable until...

I bumped into something/one that jolted me backwards, towards the ground. For a moment, I watched everything in slow-motion. The world collide in front of me. Guards skating in all direction, trying to catch up with me. People (monsters), most probably employees, cowered in the corner, shivering as if I was going to eat them alive. My hands dangling from over my head, I had no chance to save myself from the fall.

And as my head was about to touch the floor, two muscular hands grab me tightly and lift me up to my feet. When I finally gained back my balance, my vision was still unclear, and I felt dizzy. After recovering completely from the drop, my eyes meet his, and he says : "Woah! You're fast."

I look at him, scanning all the perfect details of his face. He's perfect, literally.  Those eyes... they seem so familiar...

I was about to say something, thank him at least when he brushed his index finger on my lips. He then raised my chin up, so I'd be staring directly at his beautiful face. And... he winks.
