     Ten drinks later, we were all tipsy enough not to really control ourselves. Osamu was trying as best he could to calm the ardor of the boys who were screaming and laughing loudly but nothing helped.
Bokuto, Akaashi and Kuro'o recalled their memories of high school, Hinata, Tenma, Kozume and my two new girlfriends talked about their life in general and Sakusa, meanwhile, was at the counter and talking with Osamu when he was not close to us to tell us to be silent. Atsumu had been missing for ten minutes already, but no one had noticed his absence except me.
How not to notice when he's gone ?

"I'll get some fresh air." I warned everyone, trying to get up despite the number of drinks I had had.

"You want me to come with you ?" Bokuto asked, turning to me.

I gave a small wave to say I was in control and staggered out of the restaurant.
The jet lag and the alcohol I had been drinking was really starting to run through my whole body.
I took a cigarette from my old, crumbling packet and lit it. It was already dark, but cars and passers-by continued to pour in.

"Smoking is not recommended for athletes, you know ?"

The voice surprised me and my cigarette fell to the floor.

"Sorry, I didn't want to scare you." Atsumu said pointing to me.

"Where have you been ?" I asked, relighting a second cigarette not wanting to pick up the one that was at my feet.

"I went for some fresh air like you. The true is, I don't take much alcohol."

I didn't answer and we stood side by side without speaking. With his hands in his pockets, Atsumu watched each car passed while I stared at the red tip of my cigarette which glistened in the night.

"Bokuto knows you smoke ?" Said Atsumu breaking the silence that reigned between us.

"I smoke very rarely. Most of the time it's when I'm drinking. So I don't see why he should know that." I shrugged and silence returned.

I was telling the truth, I really didn't smoke often. I couldn't afford to damage my lungs as a big swimming tournament came at the end of the season.

"You know, I'm sorry if I gave you a bad impression earlier. I didn't mean to make you feel bad by hitting on you or whatever." He turned to me and gave me a more than piercing gaze. "I'm not just a big bastard."

The glasses I had drunk before made me laugh at the revelation of the man in front of me.

"There is nothing wrong. And then it's always nice to hear that you are beautiful even if you are not."

"It wasn't wrong. I really meant it. You are really beautiful." He confirmed to me. "I would like to start over with you if you will allow me."

I looked at him in astonishment, not understanding what he meant by starting over. But as if he was reading my mind he held out his hand to me.

"I'm Miya Atsumu. 23 years old. Professional volleyball player as a setter in the MSBY Black Jackals team."

I shook his hand timidly and spoke up.

"Abe Hina. 23 years old and professional swimmer, I represent Japan in the next tournament of nations."

He let go of my hand and moved closer to my ear.

"Nice to meet you my sweet Hina." He whispered in my ear then stepped back. "I'll meet up with the others. See you inside."

"Uh, well, okay. I'll be home soon too."

He walked over to the restaurant door and then turned back to me.

"And don't worry, I won't tell Bokuto you smoked tonight. It'll be our little secret."

He disappeared into the restaurant without my being able to answer. I helped him drop my cigarette to the floor again.
Why did having a stranger so close to me affect me so much ?

"See you soon, eh ?" I asked Kenma and Kuroo hugging them.

They both said yes and then I hugged Akaashi.

"I would surely spend the week with Bokuto." He told me before I could even ask him if we were seeing each other too soon.

I then said goodbye to Tenma who was leaving in the same direction as Akaashi then I greeted Jada and Michi.
They all left except the MSBY team and me.

"Will you come see us train ?" Hinata screamed jumping all over the place.

"I will come when you want." I say with a big smile.

"You can come over tomorrow, we have a practice game against the EJP Raijin." My best friend added.

"Then I will come." I confirmed to the boys.

Either way, it's not like I have a lot to do.

The boys finally said goodbye as I waited for Bokuto to the side as he hugged Sakusa and Hinata.

"Now that I know one of your secrets, you're going to have to do something for me you know ?" Atsumu announced, appearing again next to me. "I will think about what I could ask of you."

And again, he didn't let me answer by going over to Bokuto to check him.

What do I have to do ?
