Chapter 9

*Charlotte's POV*

It was mid morning when I finally woke up. I found myself on my bed butt naked. I sat up; wrapping the sheet around me, then looked to my side. Sleeping, right there beside me was the boy who had haunted my dreams for the past five months, and now here he was, in the flesh. I lay back down beside him and snuggled up to him.

"Mmm," he mumbled in his sleep.

"Wake up sleepy head," I whispered, then kissed him on his nose.

His eyes opened and a smile appeared on his face.

"Good morning beautiful," he said, his voice thick with sleep.

"Hi." I smiled.

He cupped my face and lightly kissed me. A small moan escaped my mouth, it caused him to grin in satisfaction.

"I see you didn't get enough last night," he joked.

"Oh, I got plenty," I laughed, "You hungry?"

"Starving," he said.

I fumbled out of bed and went to the dresser. I slipped on some panties and a big t-shirt, and then went out to the kitchen. I had no idea what to make, Mandy was the one that did all of the cooking. I heard the water starting in the bathroom, Louis was taking a shower.

"Hey hoe," Mandy greeted, appearing at the door.

She sniffed the air and made a disgusted face.

"Damn, it stinks in here!" she said accusingly," Like shame and desperate sex."

"Hell yeah!" we heard Louis yell from the bathroom.

Mandy and I turned to look at each other and burst out laughing.

"Go take a shower, I'll make breakfast," she told me, noticing the mess, "and tidy up in here."

About an hour later Louis and I were chowing down on some scrambled eggs and toast; along with chopped fruit and coffee.

"This is so good," Luis moaned through a mouthful of egg.

"Thank you," Mandy beamed, "and I invited Harry over for breakfast by the way."

"You guys planned this, didn't you?" I asked her.

"Planned what?" Mandy feigned innocence.

"Getting Louis to come back, and leaving us alone," I said.

"Well, uhm," she began to say.

"Bloody hell we did," Harry announced as he walked into the apartment.

"Yeah, I was telling Harry how obvious it was that you missed Louis. So we planned a way to get you two back together, and ta-dah it worked!" Mandy explained grinning.

Harry plopped down next to Mandy and took her plate of food and began to eat it. Mandy laughed in protest but didn't take it away from him.

"This is really good," he complimented, his mouth full.

"How did you know they were back in town?" I asked, making Mandy look at me.

"The text I got last night while we were at the coffee shop, duh!" Mandy laughed.

I sat there, blankly looking down at my half eaten breakfast.

"Please don't say that what happened last night didn't mean anything to you," she said worriedly.

Harry and Louis both stopped eating to look at me. I could tell that Louis was trying really hard not to say anything, but he looked really worried.

"So," Mandy said, getting up, "I think that you two have some talking to do."

She grabbed Harry by the arm and they both exited the apartment.

"Charlotte?" Louis asked, breaking the silence.

I turned to look at him, no emotions playing on my face.

"Yeah?" I whispered.

"Please tell me you care," he said.

For a long moment I said nothing, and I could see it was making him very nervous.

"Five months ago I told you I didn't like you," I began, "but I lied."

His face lit up immediately.

"And," I added, "You were right, I do care. I do like you, and if you came all this way even after I pushed you away I think it is worth giving it a shot."

He got up from his chair and kneeled beside me.

"I love you," he said, looking up at me with his big blue eyes.

"I love you too," then I cupped his face and lowered my head to kiss him.

"Woohoo! Yeah!" we heard Harry and Mandy cheering from the hallway.

We both started laughing.

"I think we have a job now," I told him.

"And what's that?" Louis asked.

"We have to get those two to start dating already!" I said laughing.

"I couldn't agree more," he said and pulled me in for another kiss.
