I wish I'd never have to say it
But somehow you'll quietly understand;
That if this is the love I'm enchanted with,
I might take the risk to love again.

I wish I'd never have to ask for,
But somehow you'll take my hand to hold.
And even if pain calls for more,
I won't give up, I'd rather be bold.

I wish I'd never have to explain
But somehow you'll see why I'm so scared
And still stay beside, in pain or I'm vain..
It'd be such a blessing to feel dearly cared.

I wish you'd never need any reasons
To doubt a thing, when it feels so true.
Even if time changes with the seasons,
We'll realise that we can love as friends too.

I wish I'll never have to let you know
But somehow you'll get to read these lines.
It's been buried for long, now I let it flow.
