On days like these, I beg for my face to put on a smile..
On days like these, I long for my eyes to put on a little bit of sparkle..
On days like these, I wish for your memories to go away to heal myself or maybe stay for real to keep me awake..
On days like these, I fight for myself to smell the sunlight again,
to see colours and feel the warmth in every single drop of rain that touches my skin,
Count my blessings, thank God for the gift of life, brace myself and start again..
