My windows were open when I woke up. It was the 15th of May, and I woke up thinking this was going to be like any other day in the life of Ellie. But this day I will remember forever.

My room was a cluttered mess and I had my finals for school today. Me and my boyfriend were going out tonight after all our exams and my track meet. Today I had to get up early because my boyfriend was going to pick me up. So when my alarm goes off at six o'clock I do not ignore it.

Today I want to be comfortable because I am going to be sitting down a lot of the day. So I grab some athletic shorts and a blue oversize shirt. This was my favorite shirt because it had little aesthetic flowers on the front near the top. I walked down stairs to the kitchen and grabbed an apple. My favorite food is apples, but I will also eat any food.

I put my run up to my dad's office and said that I was leaving for school.

"Ellie, me and your mom are going to go to your cousin's house in Virginia today. We will not be back until 9:00 tonight so you can have a friend over or anything, and be good," My dad said, kissing me on my head.

"I will dad, and do you know where mom is," I said, having to say goodbye to her too.

"She is in the garage, bye,"

"Bye," I said back as I ran up to my room to get my bag and then head to the garage to see my mom.

When I opened the door to my room, Thomas, my dog, lay on my bed. His furry little eyes flopped up and down as he ran over to me from my bed.

"Bye Thomas," I said as I reached for my bag and let Thomas out the door.

I went into the garage and walked over to my mom. Right as I was about to say bye, Beckett pulled up, so I made it quick.

"Bye mom, love you," I said, kissing her on the cheek and then running off to go to Beckett.

"Bye sweetie," she said after me.

As I approached Beckett's jeep and smiled at me, he was wearing his baseball cap and a blue shirt just like me, "Hey Ellie," He said to me as I placed my bag down and hugged him. I sat In the front seat next to him.

"Hi," I said, not really excited about what the day held, and Beckett knowing me and my anxiety reassured me.

"Ellie, I know you will do great today, you are like the smartest person I know," I knew I blushed as I thanked him.

He started the car and I was really not feeling good about today, I slumped down in the seat. I really wish that I could go to Virginia with my parents today, but no, I had to stay in boring old Carolina.

I feel the dread run through me, and I have to ask Beckett to pull over because I feel like I am going to throw up.

"Beckett can you pls pull over, I think I am going to be sick," I was grabbing my stomach and waiting for the car to stop and rushing out of the car.

I got to my knees and I threw up over the gutter. I stood up and I could feel Beckett rubbing my back.

"Ellie, you have to stop worrying, okay, you are awesome and you can do this," He said turning me to face him, and this time he wrapped me in a tight hug.

We both walked back to his jeep, and I took my place in the passenger seat. The car started to move forward again as I expected the thought that I would do great.

Beckett tried to get my mind off the entire car ride, but when we approached school it was busy. High school was a maze. One wrong move and you would get lost. But luckily I would be out of there soon because I was a senior.

He parked the car and grabbed my hand as we walked up to the school. Our locks were right next to each other. Then when the bell rang we walked to our first class which was math. Which I am sure I would get a zero on trigonometry. I was not that hard at times, but sometimes I would get so confused.

Room 108 appeared right around the corner, and I slid open the door dropping Becketts hand. I sat in the middle of the classroom, and Beckett sat in the back row. I took my seat next to Claire, my best friend. I waved to her not wanting to get the teacher upset by talking. She waved back. This summer me and Claire are going to go to California together for a week.

The teacher started talking, "Today we are just going to test you guys on some stuff we learned, and try to do your best," She said, smiling in my direction. I think she knew about my anxiety.

I clicked my fingers on my desk as she started to pass out the test.

When she got up on my desk she patted my back and said, "you will do great," to me. When I looked down at the test the first question puzzled me. 0 ≤ R ≤ 1. Then 0 ≤ R x ≤ x. What was that even supposed to mean?

I looked around the room hopelessly. Until I finally locked eyes with Beckett. He gave me a thumbs and up. Then I locked eyes with Claire. she cupped her mouth and moved her lips telling me I would do awesome.

I looked back at the paper and started the test. I finished the third page and then I got really hard.

It was word problems. I broke it down one step at a time. Then when I finished I checked through it and then handed it to the teacher. I was the fifth person to finish and Beckett and Claire finished before me.
