When I first made the decision of coming to South Korea, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I just simply knew I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone. Plus, I didn't want to rely on my parents my whole life. So when I started looking at jobs in Korea that fit what I majored for in college, management was my top choice.

When I declared my major I didn't know much about management. As the years passed though, I learned to love it. I figured I wanted to work with people and moving here seemed like the right choice. Looking back now, I was right.

"Somi, I'm nervous" I say wiping my sweaty hands on my pants. "Amy relax, it's going to be okay! You have nothing to worry about, everyone here is going to love you!", she says holding me by my shoulders. As soon as she does this, my body relaxes, I feel the tense feeling go away. "Hey let's go get coffee before your first day, yeah?" Somi asks grabbing my hand and taking me to a near coffee shop.

"Here, drink this hon, your first day will be amazing." she says as she hands me a warm decaf drink with both hands, "My mom always said a warm drink on a warm day is good luck so, drink it all." she says giggling a bit.

I can't help but feel like someone has been watching me since I walked in with Somi. Maybe they're looking because Somi is somewhat a big personality in a company like JYP. Even then, I can't seem to convince myself. It's not until I discretely look behind me to see a guy staring but quickly lowering his vision. He seems a bit familiar, though I'm not really sure where I've seen him.

"Hey Som, without being obvious, do you know the guy sitting behind us?" I ask in a whisper. She moves her head over to see behind us and immediately flashes a big smile. "Chan! Hi!" She says waving the person over.

Somi really is a people person.

"I didn't know if you were in a meeting or just having coffee with a friend so I didn't want to bother you Noona. Who's this?" He asks giving me a sly smile. His face is solemn, almost like he hides deep secrets behind the smile he gave me just now. "Chan, this is Amelia, she's going to be working at JYP entertainment starting today."

That's when it hit me.

"Oh! You're Bangchan! I'm sorry, my mind is elsewhere" I say getting nervous. He simply shakes his head trying to tell me 'no worries' without the use of words. "Didn't Hyunjin mention anything? He ran into us a while back..." Somi says trailing off. "No, nothing. Guess he wanted to keep you to himself," he says to me in a rather flirty way. I nervously chuckle and wave my hands 'no'. "I'm sure he just forgot to mention it..."

"Manager Hyung is calling, I need to get back to practice, but I'll see you later Noona, and Amelia, see you later?"

"And this here is the boys' practice room. Ah, boys, I want you to meet Amelia, she's going to be working with you all very soon." As he says this, he gives them a knowing look. Almost as if only they knew what they were talking about, and I was left out in the dust.

"Hi everyone! You can call me Amelia or Amy. I'll be working with you as a foreign idol translator from now on. I'm really looking forward to working with all of you and getting to know you." I say smiling at each of them as I shake their hands. "That's a pretty name! Can I call you Lia?" The platinum blonde haired boys asks me with wide eyes. "Thanks! But Lia's my sister, I can't take her name. How about you pick a nickname to call me and only you can call me that, how's that sound?" I ask smiling at the adorable boy. "Okay! See hyung, she likes us already." He says motioning to a handsome boy with a mullet.
