Type-Happy with a bit of Angst
Warning-Mentions of being forgotten, depression
Dream smp and The Past That Binds us crossover
Five months ago Fundy had found himself in an unknown world, one away from the lands of the SMP. and one where he had finally felt at home, he felt accepted here unlike back home. everyone had began to forget him, they drifted away from him as he fell into a depressed like state wondering if anybody actually did care for him.
Than he awoken here in the Snow Fox Tavern located in the kingdom of Tavaria. people in this kingdom were like him, animal hybrids. people here were unique like him, they were special and they were kind even with their love for fighting and how they settled things.
Learning the laws were surprising at first but the fox hybrid had grown to enjoy it, he enjoyed seeing people actually get along even if sometimes fighting was involved. anyways something about this day felt off to the young fox as he cleaned the glasses from behind the bar. he heard the ringing of the bell that notified of him of costumers however the one that had walked into the bar had him almost drop the glass in his paws.
The young woman sitting at the bar noticed his ridged stance in that moment. her gray eyes moving to the young man that moved closer to the bar taking a seat in the empty stool next to her. "Fundy?" the young man questioned his eyes softening as he stared at the young boy.
"Y-Your supposed to be dead" the fox hybrid choked out staring wide eyed at his now not dead father. he held back his tears as anger rose up instead, he placed the glass down on the counter when he did his father tried to grab his paw but he just pulled it back. "Why are you here?" he was curious as to why he was here, in his new home none the less.
"I'd thought you'd be happy to see your own father alive and well" Wilbur spoke, eyes narrowed at his son. "Though if you must know Dream rescued me from the train station I was stuck at for 13 years" he hummed slightly "how about we catch up over a drink?"
"I think you should leave" the female next to him spoke, her ram horns and white hair standing out as well as her accent that he couldn't quite place. "not to be rude but it's nearing closing time after all and you seem to be making him a bit uncomfortable".
"I guess I can wait for him to get off his shift to talk" Wilbur told the female, staring at her as she sighed lifting her glass to her lips to take a sip. her gray eyes boring into him before she set it down and stood up from her seat.
"I don't think ya understand, your gonna leave and not mess with him" she told him. her glare only phasing him slightly as he sighed getting up as well to look at her the smile never leaving his features which was slightly unsettling to say the least.
"You shouldn't get into others affairs, you don't know him and he's my son I will have a talk with him if I want" he spoke, unaware of the others in the bars silence being worrying for Fundy was shaking slightly.
"Your highness" Fundy spoke voice shaky, as they both turned to him. "I can fight this battle for myself" the goat woman sighed. as she gestured to the one standing behind Wilbur to lower their weapon. the fox turned towards his father as he left from behind the bar, "You stopped being my father the moment you chose your country over me, you stopped being my father the moment you died, truth be told you have never been my father Wilbur" he raised his voice "I don't want to talk to you because I've already moved past this, I'm home now in a place that accepts me, I don't need some human trying to remind me of my past!".
"I see" Wilbur spoke with a frown, "I'm just a human It's not like I raised you" he made his way to leave the bar. he could tell he wasn't welcomed here he had just seen his son after so long but he guessed this was his home now.
"You never raised me" Fundy got out before the man was gone, and the tears fell. he cried that night in the arms of his family, the ones that cared for him for the heir to the throne of Tavaria and her guard were his family now because he was Home after all.
