Sara woke up when the first rays of sunlight came in through the window. She felt suprisingly good. Then she remembered.

"At sunrise. Fight. Fuck!" She mumbled alone and was out of the bed in seconds. Sahe had fallen asleep with a t-shirt and pants on, so she didn't have to think about looking decent. She went to her door and listened. Silence. She peaked out of the door and to the hallway. It empty.

Fastly she hid her scent(a skill her father had teached her when she was a kid) and ran silently to the elevator

Fastly she hid her scent(a skill her father had teached her when she was a kid) and ran silently to the elevator. The cold metal floor made her relaise, that she propably should have taken shoes with her. The lift stopped at the second floor instead of the first floor and the when the doors of the lift opened Sara forgot all her worries about shoes. She carefully listened to any suspicious voices and looked around carefully. It was quiet, just like in the fourth floor.

The couples with families were working or at the combat training and the kids would be in school or kindergarden. Only two females, who were unknown to Sara, came across her while she was walking to the balcony in the southern hallway. When she reached the balcony she once more looked around, before jumping down and in the middle of the jump she shifted into her wolf. The forest behind the pack house was thick and it was easy for Sara to hide in there. Sara would have to take a little bit longer route to avoid coming across the houses. Then she could run straight to the Redblood's terrority. Luckily the houses were not really close to eachother. Justin believed that the pack would be more powerful if they all lived under the same roof. It was the reason why the pack house was so massive. Typically werewolf couples had/wanted 0 to 3 pups. And because the rooms in the packhouse weren't very big, it was easier for the families to live in their own small houses/cottages near the packhouse. Sara decided to take a short cut through her old house. The yard looked awful. The grass needed to be cut and the flower Sara's mother had planted desperatedly needed water.

"Where are you going pup?" The now too familiar voice was heard from Sara's keft side.

"Well what do you think Peter?" Sara asked sarcastically while rolling her eyes.

"Hmmm... It seems that the Luna of The Moonshadowpack is trying to escape. How do you think Justin will take that?" Peter said thoughtfully while stepping out of the shadows of the garage, while watching at the now abandoned house that once had been familiar to him.

"I am making few things clear to you now Peter. First of all yes I am Luna and you should show me a tiny bit of respect for that. Second of all I am the Luna of the Redblood pack and third of all I couldn't care less what Justin thinks." Sara hissed, but then took few deep breaths to calm herself down before continuing wiith a normal voice, but still serious. "Justin is not my soulmate. And for all I remember, you know what it feels like to be away from your other half... I remember Maria." Sara said the last part little bit more quietly and turned to look at Peter.

Maria, Peter's wife and Justin's mother was kind hearted woman. She had taken care of Sara many times when her parents had been in meetings and important balls.

Peter's wife and mate.

For awhile it was quiet.

"That I do know. And I also now the heart breaking when you are separated forever. It is painful and at worst it makes you crazy... and you might do something to yourself." Peter answered while tears made their way in his eyes, while he thought of his mate who in heartbreak had taken her own life.

In heartbreak that Peter blamed the late Alpha of the Moonshadow pack, Daniel, who was also Sara's father.

"If you have any idea how I feel right now, you will let me go." Sara whispered. "I don't want anything to happen to anyone I love anymore. Not because of me..." Sara said while moving her hand protectively over her still flat stomach.

"I can't give Justin what he wants, because someone else did it first and now I will do anything to pritect it. These two days I ahve been alone a lot and I have had time to think about things and now I understand why you did what you did... and I..." She swallowed once before looking him dead in the eye. "I forgive you."

"But... What? Is it? Peter stumbled over his words in confusion, before pulling himself together. "First of all thank you. You really have grown and I am proud of what you have become and your parents would have been too. You have a kind hear kid..." For the first time Peter called Sara something else that pup and it made her think what was yet to come. "But I am sorry. The battle has already begun."
