Ash let out a shaky breath as he set his phone down, his sister was staring at him, trying to know if her little plan worked or not.

"She said yes.." Ash spoke, still in a state of shock, his eyes unblinking, staring into space as his mouth was parted.

Even his sister's ear defeaning squeal couldn't take him out of his trance. He still couldn't believe that Starry, the girl he had taken a liking to since he first met in university, the girl he couldn't ask out at that time, finally, said yes to go on a date with him.

Oh he was on cloud nine.

"Oh my god brother! You should definitely thank me. You would've chickened out if it wasn't for me." Sarah, his sister rambled. She has witnessed her brother's crush on the girl.

So when she saw her brother, with one of his hand in his hair, and the thumb of other hovering over the send botton, she couldn't help but nudge him. Just enough so that Ash's hand would slip and it did.
