Love is what holds us together so tight
There is so much in our souls with this light
A small act of kindness can birth another day
in someone's life that can revive their weak faith
This lantern I hold paves the way for a new path
We help each other learn in this world of math
The interior of who we are is so much more
It translates to a beautiful image from our core
My heart yearns for the ambient moods I lack
Progress is not linear when you are not on track
I gaze at the sights ahead of my vision
A view so empty, but a nice alluring prism
I escape the confines of my hut I dwell in
To explore the depths of the story I tell in
Deep down in the crevice under this ground
there are lots of mazes and treasures so profound
This labyrinth is so unique in its mysterious ways
a journey to discover brilliance in these caves
Curiosity can come out from a boring slumber
We never stop living in this vast sea that lives under
An entrance to a new world full of pretty dreams
is so much more than what it might first seem
A flashback plays out in my tender mind
My father and I walk in this beach shrine
We talk about our days in the calm
I thank him for so much with my small palm
His smile is a precious treasure to me
I'll always cherish my lovely daddy
We went back to the small home we stayed in
A sanctuary of peace that we would pray in
After these moments of pure reflection
I slept in my bed next to my collection
This memory was abrupted by a sound
That caught my attention, as I have soon found
A beep came from my phone which was a text
I sighed so sadly as I wondered what's next
This current reality is so depressing
But I remind myself of the true blessings
I exit my trip into the surface levels above
as I depart from the sea, farewell with love
I enter my living room out of my lair,
into the ambience of this place with its air
I am home from another great quest beyond
My connection is kept with these sights so strong
Let us live for another great day well spent,
these memories shared are the gifts in this present...
