Maggie's POV

"Billie's asleep" Patrick said walking back into the kitchen. I feel horrible for Billie because like a week ago she told us she was pregnant. Her and Que were so happy and they looked like they were in love. She loves him so much and we never expected for Billie to come in sobbing and had bruises all over her.

"Well what are we going to do?" I ask Patrick. "We are going to call the police that's what we are going to do" He said sounding mad. I sigh and get my phone. I call Finneas and thankfully he picks up.

"Hey mom" He said with a raspy voice. "Hello you need to come round" I say trying not to cry. "Why? Its 5 am" He said. "Billie needs you" I say. "Why? What happened?" He asks worried. "Just please come round she needs you right now" I say tears rolling down my face.

I hang up and put my face in my hands. Patrick rubs my back as I cry. "I-I don't know what to do" I say. "She has been through so much and I hate seeing her in pain" I cry. "I know but we will get everything sorted and she will be ok" He says.

We hear Nova crying and we quietly run to Billie's room. We open the door a little and see Billie breastfeeding Nova and rocking her. She starts softly singing Xanny and it sounded like she was about to cry.

She stopped singing and then says "I hate your dad but I love him too. Hopefully baby brother or sister is ok because that shit hurt." She chuckled a little. "Guess I'm going to be pregnant with his baby alone, again" She lied back down and cuddled with Nova. "I love you" "Love you too mommy" Nova said. Billie put her arm around Nova and they fall asleep.

"Mom?" We heard Finneas shout walking into the house. "You ok? What happened?" He asked hugging me. "Bro shut the fuck up" Billie says walking into the kitchen rubbing her eyes. "Sorry. You ok?" Finneas said hugging her. "I don't want to talk about it" She mumbled.

"Are you and Nova ok?" He asked. "Yeah, she's asleep but she was in her room when it happened" She said. "What did he do to you?" He asked. "Well, he came home at like half 4 and I asked him where he was because I was worried and he told me to shut up. I asked him again because I wanted to know and she shouted at me and started beating me up" She said.

"Oh my god. Imma beat him up" He said standing up. "No! Don't please can we just leave it alone" She said. "Billie we need to call the police. He can't have custody of Nova. You can't let him beat you up. Your pregnant for god sake!" I say.

She starts crying and we go to comfort her. "I love him though" She says. "I know but you have to leave him. For yours, Nova's and the baby's good." I say rubbing her back. "God I hate this!" She shouts.

I know she is hurting. And it hurts me too. She must be going through such a hard time. All she wants to do is give Nova a good life, that's why she wants to be with Que, so Nova can grow up with her mom and dad but he is just a bad person. She has tried to make him a good person for their child but he wont learn!

Nova starts crying so Billie goes to get her. Nova buries her head into Billie's neck while Billie rocks her and rubs her back. "Fin Fin" Nova said reaching out to Finneas. She takes her out of Billie's arms and rocks her.

"I love Nova so much and she is the best thing that's ever happened to me but her dad is a bitch so it sucks" She chuckles stroking Nova's hair. "I know and its a same he can't be a good dad" I say.

"And I'm pregnant with his other child!" She says waving her arms in the air in a sarcastic excitement. "I need to go home but he will probably be there" She says, "Well we will go with you" I say. "Ok"

We all get into my car and dad drives us to my house. We pull up to the drive way and walk in. Billie check the whole house to see if everything was like it was.

"Everything is fine" She says walking down the stairs. "That's good" I reply.
